Civilization V Demo coming before release

The Civilization V official website announces that a demo is planned for the turn-based strategy sequel, and will be released in September before the full game is released.

"The demo will be released in September, before the full game is released. More details about what will be available in the demo, as well as the exact release date are coming soon, so stay tuned!" read a statement on the website.

I know what was with them releasing the Mass Effect 2 Demo 6 months after the game? I mean I was always going to buy it no matter but even still!

I played a lot of strategy games in general, but having a deep love of both history and sci-fi, the epic sweep of Civ 2 from prehistory to the stars held a particular appeal. I loved taking my little people from their huts and ziggurats to the world of science and advanced space-flight.
