I don't know about the Rest but i agree with the 5th one, *The Design* the previous design was awful.

The new one is so much better.

it doesnt 'do away' with the power brick its still there albeit a little smaller but its still there and its still too big because it should be internal

Microsoft is literally the BP of the gaming industry, shit's all over, attempts to cover it up, shits some more, volunteers left to clean up the crap.

The old 360 looks better than the 360s. The length and the thickness of the old 360 was perfect. The plastic material is better than the now current glossy finish. The O/I button on the 360S looks smaller and more boring. The size overall for the old 360 was perfect. I don't know why they needed to shrink it.

GWAVE5768d ago

Yeah, this article is misleading. The 360 S CLEARLY still has RRoD issues, it simply isn't called the RRoD and there's a software prompt that interrupts your game before the system melts, but it's still RRoD.

The power brick is still there, so I don't know what the heck the author was talking about.

And what about the issues that remain such as disc scratching?

"Microsoft is literally the BP of the gaming industry, shit's all over, attempts to cover it up, shits some more, volunteers left to clean up the crap."

Eh.. not unless you mean starting up whole new standards for gaming to be 'shitting on' like xbla, xblig, live, cross game chat, 3 year warranties, wireless controllers, background downloading, low-power downloading, low power controller recharge, marketplace & marketplace overhaul, award gamer's profiles with metagame items from playing normal games, seperate logins that can all login on each controller on any game etc etc.

I'm guessing that's much better than coming into the latest gen with a totally different CPU and storage medium which fux up a boatload of developers who haven't had any experience with it yet.

If any company shat all over gaming it was Nintendo - with their platforms they've practically encouraged shovelware.

There not even 5 reasons... New design?? How was that a problem?? We also have no evidence RROD is gone.. Just because they removed the lights doesn't mean the hardware won't fault in the same way.. Only time will tell.. Also Kinect ready? A Problem?? They are really trying to get hits here.. Or at least try convince people RROD is gone... In fact game stores in UK here are telling people RROD fault still exists they just removed the lights.. Are they just being prepared? Or ITK?

"In fact game stores in UK here are telling people RROD fault still exists they just removed the lights"

Yeah, of course that's what they're telling potential customers.
Next time, try to be a be more inventive when lying. In fact I'm off to town now, I'll pop into Game and ask them. Time will tell if the 360s has a big of a RROD problem as the launch models, but we can't know for sure at the moment. But hey don't let that stop you from attempting to troll.

I also like the built-in Wi-Fi

dark-hollow5769d ago

i don't know why they didn't make it built-in from the first place?
i mean really the xbox was the only console that don't have wi-fi

ps3
wii
ds
psp

There was more money to be made by doing the wrong thing. Wonder how much they made by fleecing people for those overpriced WiFi accessories.

the fact that the kid in the 4th vid had it right next to a window in july couldn't possibly have had anything to do with it. it's not like black things heat up when the sun beats down on them, right? /s

the 3rd guy states it was a connection error right in the vid description. his comment from that very video-

" ehh im pretty sure thats not it because i tried like 20 times and it would randomly give this error. so i dont think its any feature. im pretty sure it is a HDD problem because i took it out and put it back in snuggly and it hasnt given me the error in around 15 tries fergdizzle9090 11 hours ago"

dark-hollow5769d ago

i don't know though...without actual numbers random youtube videos means nothing

KingZFlipper5768d ago (Edited 5768d ago )

That RLOD thing is such BS. I can do that on my original Xbox 360 pro. I just loose a little bit on the AV cable and thats it. When you try to power it up it gets the red light. Do a little research before you post something like that

*sigh* That's like a Jimmy Jones follower telling me to look at the bible again... XD

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde27d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
