SarcasticGamer: After a multiplayer-focused showing at E3, Eat Sleep Play co-founders David Jaffe and Scott Campbell have finally revealed some single-player details for 2011 franchise reboot Twisted Metal. For franchise fans, it will be quite a departure from the established formula.

Twisted Metal is getting an interesting promotion at San Diego Comic-Con.

Cyberpunk 2077, Abiotic Factor, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and more
Twisted Metal 3 and 4 join PlayStation Plus Premium.
Wow cyberpunk is a great pick up. If you haven’t played it you should definitely give it a try
Despite owning the 2077 One X console and the steelbook edition of the game... i still have never played it. I may actually give 2077 a try (via the portal) as there has been so much talk about it again, thanks to SW2 and now this comparison vid from DF. https://youtu.be/SvGQik3m6a...
Cyberpunk and Risk of rain 2 are the best of the bunch. Not a bad month if you are one of the few that haven't played those games.
Cyberpunk is probably one of the best games I've ever played, even when it came out with all the bugs and glitches and broken gameplay on consoles, I still loved it at its core because the world was exactly what I wanted in a dystopian vision of the real future and the story was actually well done and compelling. With the fixes and then Phantom Liberty I just knew that this game could've been GOTY winner if it hadn't been released too early and released on PS5. XBX and two years later.
Might give cyberpunk a chance now that the game redeemed itself . Is it only the basic game or with the newer content ?

Will PlayStation bring back some classic Twisted Metal games?
TM3 is my favorite but I'll take what they bring out gladly. Fun times back in the day and great soundtracks
Lego 2K Drive features an exciting mode called Brick Brawl, inspired by Twisted Metal. Players can create, share, and upload various cars, including ones like Sweet Tooth. The game boasts thousands of custom cars, ranging from the Batmobile to the Sweet Tooth ice cream truck.
Never understood the like for the series. Not my bag but I know a lot of gamers are clamoring for a new game and liked the TV. Series
Twisted Metal: Black is when the series really hit for me. I still love that game so much. It was kind of downhill for the series after that IMO. I'd love to see the series go back to its roots, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for David Jaffe coming back from where he is these days to oversee development of a competent sequel.
Can't wait for this game.
... the single player mode was the old-fashioned, 10ish hours, one main character, one main story arc campaign. I know that’s never been in Twisted Metal, but I think the 3 character approach is close enough for my taste. Sweet Tooth is obviously who I’d tackle the story with first.
"Rather than host a field of nutty, dejected contestants, Twisted Metal single-player will focus on hardened series veterans Sweet Tooth, Dollface and Mr. Grimm, each with a unique campaign and three different endings. So, you won’t have bust through the same levels and bosses with 15 or so contestants. "
Odds are this is where DLC will come in.
I enjoyed Twisted Metal Black a lot mainly because of the story mode campaign with all the characters. Then I loved it's whole Mature and dark theme it had going. I remember getting TM: Black online for free when Sony sent those discs out but I never really cared about the online portion of the game. Even Twisted Metal Head-On on the PSP I bought yet never cared about playing online.
So I'm not sure if this new Twisted Metal will be for me. First with the goal to be T rated, only 3 chracters, and now seeing this is a very multiplayer focused game. Maybe might pick this up down the line when they decide to release more characters or something.
Just so unsure on this title. Nothing about it so far has excited me besides the fact that after 10 years, it's back on a console.
