i know why SONY passed the kinect technology, eyetoy failed after 3 years so will kinect

not a fanboy, it's my personal opinion

WhatARump5775d ago (Edited 5775d ago )

Whichever console you have, that's the one you're gonna get x)
No one's going to buy a new console for this stuff.

In my case I may or may not get Move depending on how it's used in the future.

livinwitbias5775d ago

For me I think, I'll probably be getting them both. I'll enjoy the advantages of both technologies.

Also, how many of these "Which one is right for you? Move vs. Kinect." articles are going to get approved, it seems like we are just rehashing the same sh!t.

talltony5775d ago

and I chose move. Not about what console you have its common sense!

Playerz85775d ago (Edited 5775d ago )

Since I don't have a 360, I guess Move is good for me.

And ya, Sony had Kinect tech long before Microsoft.

RockmanII75775d ago

I pick secret option C, Nintendo Wii (Because Super Smash Bros will never come out for Move or Kinect).

LeonSKennedy4Life5775d ago

Power Stone 2 came out on the Dreamcast years ago.

It has a much deeper combo system and gameplay mechanics that no brawler has touched since. It's still a lot more fun than SSB.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO5775d ago (Edited 5775d ago )

I pick the device that have 1:1 Tracking, Hardcore Games, with Super Precision, Facial, Body tracking and Voice Recognition and works with any game, with more than 40 Games in the Catalog.

tinybigman5775d ago

Even though I have both systems ill get the one that works with core games.

HolyOrangeCows5775d ago

Move if anything. And maybe not even that.

jden285775d ago

Well I'm gonna buy the Kinect first...Why because it's cheaper for 2 players and I want my non-gamer fiancee to enjoy my favorite hobby as well...And she also wants to work-out with and I think that what they showed for kinect will be great for her....And she wathced the E3 stuff with me on G4 and thought the move was gonna be confusing for her...Her 2 concerns were "why would I want to hold a move contoller in 1 hand and a regular one in ther other...thas just too many friggin buttons" 2. She said..."Why do I have to use 2 move controller for this game and then the move controller and that other thing for other games I'm gonna get confused and not wanna play"...So From my point of view she settled it for me I'm gonna get the Kinect 1st then the MOVE latter but it'll be just for me.... Basically I'm gonna get the 4gb bundle and use the 4 or 5 flash drives I have laying around the house until they release the seperate harddrive...

moparful995775d ago

Or you could buy move(save money in the long run) and just teach her how to use move. It's not confusing it just appears that way to her. It's your job as a true gamer to try and help her understand. Don't bow down because she's affraid of trying new things.

SaberEdge5775d ago

I think both have a lot of potential, but I'm not sure I will be getting either of them just yet. I do like that Sony is already showing hardcore gaming uses for Move. I think Kinect has plenty of potential for hardcore gaming, but so far MS seems focused on launching this to the casual market.

moparful995775d ago

Eyetoy didnt fail. It sold something like 4 some odd million. Considering it was an add on thats rather impressive. Thats why sony decided to revise and create ps eye which also sold well and led to our current state of affairs; move.

Kinect to me is a good idea, but micosoft is fucking it up. The games so far look WAYY to boring. So I'm gonna go with sony's Move on this one. The games look more suited 4 me.

tiamat55775d ago

Move really looks like it has a future. Sony is putting there all into it and we reap the benifits. Move and PS3 to the end.

Bigpappy5775d ago

Kinect needs a hadicap on the site to have a fair chance. So here goes:
Kinect
Kinect
and the last:
Johny5, AKA Kinect.

Side note: If you have a window mobile phone, try using the Bing GPS to speak your address. It understands every address I ask for. Used it on the road all day and it worked flawlessly. This is add a new level of anticipation, for me to see what Kinect does with voice. I think the accuracy at resolving speech with surprise a lot of people. I hope I can use it instead of typing on my PC.

RememberThe3575775d ago

Hey, even if Kinect can't track your fingers it can track your words. I hope that kind of tech can be used with both Kinect and the PSEye 'cause I really thing I'm completely avoiding Kinect.

RockmanII75775d ago

Wait, are you praising Kinect, Bing, and Windows mobile phone all in the same sentence?

moparful995775d ago

LOL yes he was. Thats what they do, ignore M$' major failures and be overly optimisitc about those that aren't looking like they will meet expectations...

PlayStation Move Controller Used to Perform Surgery on a Pig That Was 5,780 Miles Away

A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.

jznrpg583d ago

There is at least a few good jokes that could come from that title

Cacabunga582d ago

Yet another powerful device Sony gave up supporting. KZ3 move was one of the best motion controller implementation ever

just_looken582d ago

Right the ps move was awesome i have the gun thing from killzone still.

Relientk77583d ago

That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Lexreborn2583d ago

Guess that submarine should’ve used move controllers instead of logitech
