Ex: Popular social gaming destinations like FaceBook and Kongregate may be facing serious competition if a recent rumor is to be believed.
The word is that Google is negotiating with developers such as Playdom (recently purchased by Disney), EA's Playfish and Zynga Game Network.

TechRaptor writes, "With support for Adobe Flash Player ceasing by the end of this year, sites that host flash games are finding ways to change. In the case of Kongregate, many essential features are being cut as the company prepares for what is to come."

Kongregate CEO Emily Greer speaks to PC Invasion about its newly launched game platform, Kartridge, which focuses on community and rewards.

Kongregate's new Storefront Kartridge has announced the date for its open beta.
Glad to see the company venturing off in new areas. Love kong for online flash games
I can't help but think this is a very, very bad thing.
That's awesome! I hope it's true. Google FTW
Skynet, people. Skynet.
It's a smart business choice for Google, where do I apply?
