148Apps Review: Plunderland

148Apps:

Rather than set out to be a great game, Plunderland, like Pocket God before it, set out to give you a great experience. The premise is painfully simple, you get a boat with some pirates that you must guide (via accelerometer) to the next port, looting and pillaging everything that you find along the way. The only real difference that you have with this and Pocket God is that you can die and your ship can be sunk.

AppVee Review: Plunderland

AppVee:

The app store is full of games that reference pirates but rarely will you find a game completely devoted to pillaging and plundering. Plunderland for the iPhone and iPod Touch is an app that takes the life of a pirate and makes it into a game. If any of you have ever played Rolando, you will immediately recognize the similarities in gameplay and graphics. It has a cartoon look that captures the free-spirit lifestyle of fictional pirates.

So it is nice to see a change for a while.
