Here is a short list of 10 game environments (in no particular order) that hooked me in one way or another.
Red Dead Redemption hits 3.3 million Netflix downloads on mobile, underscoring how subscription access drives reach over paid sales.
More like people don't play these type of games on their phone normally and don't try them out. Not like the places where people do play these games haven't crushed those numbers easily.
How many people actually played more than an hour of the game or came close to finishing it on mobile is the real question. If people aren't playing the games to a point that is purposeful, then why try when a subscription that is behind a streaming service isn't a sign of success but just curiosity.
I downloaded it because I already have a Netflix sub.
I am not going to buy it for $40 or whatever it costs on Google Play.
I tried it out and will be sticking to the PC version, but it's not bad.
Having said that, this is the issues I see vs the PC version:
1. Greatly reduced texture resolution.
2. Massive downgrade ALL lighting quality (this includes water, shadows, etc).
3. Stutter and heat. Prolonged play leads to both.
On the plus side, we have:

Great way to try the game, but not the best way to play it.
They should build a production that includes members behind the True Grit remake and Hell on Wheels from AMC. Both were perfect for wild west vibes.
A remaster of Bethesda Game Studios' 2008 action role-playing game, Fallout 3, is planned for release at some point in the future.
Would be nice if they had New Vegas ready as well, especially because of the show.
Hopefully this doesn't have the same performance issues as Oblivion Remastered.
Throw in all the DLC as well, like Oblivion and I'll definitely bite. I recall having one trophy left to unlock on the PS3 version with 100+ hours in my save. When my save file got corrupted, lol. Very sad day.
To be fair though, Bethesda was trash at Playstation ports anyway.
all devs sucked at porting to ps3 for the first like 3 years because no one had experience with the cell architecture. Even 1st party took a long while to get proficient with it, the difference between uncharted 1 and 3 is massive for example.
Oh oh oh I can do this too. GTA 7 will be made at some point in the future. Fallout 5 will enter development in the future too
Everyone there should know most gamers want New Vegas and Morrowind more than anything.
Which is why we won't get them. Gotta keep floating "support this one and it might happen".
Rockstar says the free upgrade issue affecting Red Dead Redemption Xbox 360 owners requires more time to resolve, with another update expected within five days.
I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.
Yea I think thats what it is. I also own the game but not the expansion, and im unable to download the update.
Too many wasteland kinda environments in this list. What about U1's lush jungles or Just Cause 2's Island?
Dunno about that Spider game, but the rest certainly make sense...
I was looking for Morrowind or Oblivion. World or Warcraft is also pretty vast in terms of real estate, and has a good amount of variety.
SOTC is my favorite environment in any game its so vast, mysterious and peaceful.
SOTC and Zelda WW are much deserved. The rest, meh. None of the rest of the games are that good.
