Its definatly great if you can afford it.

I dont know i just got back from a 3D movie in the cinema (Toy Story 3), i cant see myself play a game for 2 hours straight with those things.

i havent checked details for 3dTV's.. but can someone answer can you just watch normal TV with a 3dTV? might be a silly question.

Still unable to decide which to go for as there are alot of impressive demos for both LCD and Plasma 3DTVs. I can understand people put off by the glasses, price or lack of content. However for me, the glasses don't bother me one bit, the price is not an issue and there's enough content available now and certainly on the way for me to enjoy.

LED is the way forward, colour and contrast is far superior to LCD and Plasma!I went an demo'd a 40" LED 3D Samsung at my local Comet and I was blown away at how crystal clear the 3D was..It's a 100x better than at the cinema!The only issue I have with 3D content other than the lack of it, Is 99% is just to give the picture depth, I want more things coming out of the screen about to hit me in da face!
I will be purchasing my new tv when 3D blurays come out and the content is more mainstream!I don't think it's too expensive at the moment (I bought my 38" LCD tv I have at the moment for more than some 3D sets are selling for) I just don't see the point at the moment as I will hardly be using the feature...and a bonus of waiting till then is it'll be cheaper or I can get more for my money!
@Clank543 Those Glasses free TVs are years away from being perfected there are many problems like were you sit and the quality, So for the full experience I'm sorry but your have too look like a fool and wear goggles like the rest of us lol

if you got the money why not i say. for the rest of us i would say it's a wait and see right now for 2 reasons. 1) there are no standards right now some used shutter glasses other use polarized glasses some tv's require a separate tuner of some kind other don't and there is no guarantee the tv's and players from different companies will work together. 2) the most obvious is cost not only the tv but also the glasses which are ridiculously priced right now.

3D is the future but not right now give in a year or two and i think it will really blossom

Good and easily written info.. definitely be saving once everything gets settled with this technology, I'd even go as far as wait for 3D w/out the use of glasses to become the norm.
