Alan Wake is published by Microsoft.

There is about as much chance of Super Mario appearing on PS3.

***for all the people bringing up MGS4 that is published by Konami not Sony.......There is a big difference. I'm not saying that MGS4 is coming to 360 I am only stating that there is no way a first party(Microsoft) tile would go to PS3.

gaffyh6843d ago

Yeah, it was meant to be on PS3 aswell in the beginning, so maybe Amazon just haven't updated their info.

ENNO6843d ago

if amazon can make a mistake like this so can HMV about MGS4

ShiftyLookingCow6843d ago

exactly, let leave the dead cows dead

i Shank u6843d ago

but this mistake has take 2 interactive as the publisher; it gives false information. the MGS4 post didnt do that

smart_head6843d ago (Edited 6843d ago )

If you visit http://www.alanwake.com/ and scroll down, you'll notice that the game is being published by Microsoft Studios. Moreover, it's actually mentioned there that the game is "Exclusive to Windows Vista and Xbox 360." So I'm speculating that Amazon had some miscommunication with its source.

See, I'd like to play this game on my PS3 but I don't think that's going to happen.

smart_head6843d ago

Seriously, how could someone disagree with the facts? What is with these people? Did I say something a fanboy would say? I'm pissed.

And just so these people know, I don't even own an Xbox 360, but facts are facts man!

InMyOpinion6843d ago

Fanboy logic. It's very sad indeed. Happens all the time. It's part of The Seven Stages Of Denial that padawan fanboys go through. At stage 3 they start denying facts.

Crazyglues6842d ago (Edited 6842d ago )

Jenzo that was the best answer ever.... I laughed and laughed when I read that.

What's funny is smart_head on this board you can say something that is perfectly logical like published by Microsoft, a super red flag waving in the eye of dis believers.. A pure fact that the game will never see the light of day on PS3, but yet they will disagree..

That just makes me laugh... it's also the reason I have stop arguing about xbox 360 or PS3.. you just can't argue with that kind of logic.

Once the facts don't apply I really don't know what else to say... LoL

All I can tell you is don't talk to, or poke fanboys they will attack your bubbles without rhyme or reason, instead look for gamers they will be the one's who can understand a point like it's published by Microsoft, and therefor doesn't have a chance in hell of coming out on PS3.

How can you tell the difference?, fanboys are the one's upset about this post and they also believe that wrapping a towel around an xbox 360 is a good idea, because it makes the system feel warm and soft inside... LoL

was just about to say go to the website and u will see all the info about mgs publishing this game

A Late Look: Alan Wake

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "All in all, it’s not hard to see why Alan Wake has received a bit of a cult following (there’s that famous foreshadowing again). It’s a title that blends themes and gameplay, while pushing the limits of storytelling by putting stories within stories and letting you read those stories before you get to that part in… the story. It has flaws, to be sure - the gameplay side can’t quite keep up with the rest of its ambitions - but overall it’s a great game that stands out among its peers and is undeniably… one for the books."

Kind of a goody story...

On a serious note, that is why I try activating gift cards asap. It's happened to me where the store didnt scan it right where the card was unusuable. Happened at Wally World.

gigoran8744d ago

wait, that place is real? national lampoon wasn't kidding?

jznrpg156d ago

People sometimes call Wal-Mart Wally World including myself

I just bought two of the MonsterVerse Godzilla movies on 4K - both had digital copies expiring in 2023. Both were actually expired.

I'd be surprised but it's WB, of course they'd actually expire them

Knightofelemia744d ago

Usually most of those redemption card have an expiry date on them. If they expired all buyer did was buy recycled paper. And some of those codes are country locked to certain countries. I buy a card from the States I can't use it in Canada.

Dumb and silly story. She wasted her money for no reason.

Is it really that hard to go to Steam or GOG. She spent $240, when its currently 70% off on GOG, and only costs $4.49.

Gee, I wonder, should I spend $240 on eBay, or $4.49 on GOG? 🙄

Rynxie744d ago

Most likely she wanted to resell a few or most of them. However, it was a too good to be true situation.

Profchaos744d ago

So in short she paid $240.00 assuming usd for a bunch on unactivated game codes.

I still don't understand why I guess cause there's not a physical version and she wanted something for a collection or art project.

Rynxie744d ago

No, most likely to resell. However, she ended up getting screwed.

Asplundh744d ago

This is Alan Wake 1, it had physical copies.
