This has nothing to do with Starcraft the game and everything to do with Starcraft the universe.
Both the game and the universe. The game is a robust real-time strategy classic, the universe one of the more enjoyable in video games, managing a science fiction setting with a dash of humour. But that universe is - like most fictional worlds - not entirely of its own making. Just like Star Wars is The Hidden Fortress with lasers, Starcraft owes a visual debt to Games Workshop's Warhammer 40K.

"Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition brings the 2011 classic back to the limelight after SM2's unprecedent success, and does so with love."

so they improved the remaster? played the original and loved it. I went into the remaster and was underwhelmed. What have they changed since launching the remaster to make it a 4/5?

This is a good version of this just okay third-person shooter / hack & slash action game.

TSA reviews the Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Master Crafted edition.
While it's true WarCraft and StarCraft are largely inspired by Warhammer and 40K, it's not like Blizzard did not try to obtain the rights to make games in those universes, Games Workshop simply turned them down, soon after WarCraft I they probably realized it was a big mistake. But its cool it worked out well, Dawn of War is a great series to have from Relic.
was already aware that SC and WC were inspired by Warhammer but Blizzard at least gave their universe it's own story and background. In my opinion Warcraft and Starcraft has already stepped stepped out of Warhammers shadow. People should still check out Dawn of War and its sequel, they're great games.
It's an ancient cliche. How bout some Elves, Orcs and Humans? It's the same damned thing.
Dawn of War 2 > StarCraft 2.
There, I said it.
