Behold! proof that PC gaming has the largest library of games ever! consoles barely have half this amount!

I used to have a large PC games collection but with DOS and earlier DirectX games, most aren't compatible with today's Windows, video and sound hardware. Even with different types of DOS emulators, most of the DOS games will not run properly or very unstable. With earlier DirectX 3 through 6 Windows games, they are rarely compatible.

I used to set up multiple older PC hardware that worked with old video drivers which were semi compatible with old Windows games. And eventually gave up because I spent more time tweaking the Windows, drivers and the games just to play them.

That's the problem playing PC games. Play them quickly and don't expect most of them to be compatible after a few years with new OS, drivers and hardware.

With the DRM activation now required for PC games, good luck trying to activate the PC games in a few years even they maybe compatible. (Unless you have the pirated version).

Anyone who says they have no problem running old PC games with new OS, driver or hardware, they haven't played enough really old PC games from the 80s and 90s.

That's cool, but I'm Mr anti clutter, if a game gets to the point where it is no longer compatible...or like diablo 2...is just no longer fun. I throw them in the bin, if I even buy a new game I don't like I give it away straight away, same with CD's I don't want junk titles filling up shelves when some less fortunate sap could be actually enjoying them.

I wish I had that much shelf space period...

That is lots of games. I thought I had lots, 76 PS3 blu-rays and about 20 PC discs. I have spent over £2,000 just on PS3 games, wonder how much this guy has spent on his games.

This guy is amazing. I BOW DOWN ALL MIGHTY PC GAMES. I'm sure he have everything from DOOM, Duke Nukem, Prince of Persia MS DOS version I MEAN EVERYTHING. When I get a bigger place that's what I'm going to do with my collection. room so damn small can't even find a new place for it.

most of the games there i havent even heard of before i suspect most where $5 bargain games and stuff by the looks of it, it would be a lot less impressive if he put them in a cd case tho cos those old pc game boxes are huge and make it seem more. If i put all my pc games in huge boxes they would take alot of space too.

I wonder if his mum complains about all those games when she comes down to the basement.

I can potentially top it. If i knew how many games were in there. I currently have 909 games total across all systems.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
