Champions Online previews summer update

A new State of the Game for Champions Online has been released. In it, a great deal of detail has gone in to highlighting changes set for the summer update, tenatively scheduled for August 17th.

Until Microsoft helps facilitate things a bit better, MMO's just won't happen on 360.

For some reason, no matter what the devs do, CO is just a supremely average MMO. It still lags behind CoX in almost every way (except graphics).

I really expected more from a super hero MMO. Launching with so little content was a mistake, but the focus has been on all the wrong things in my opinion.

I disagree. I just recently returned to play and I am having a ball. There is a ton more content and in different types of areas. City of Heroes looked the same and was repetitive in the mission area. There only way COH is superior is the player made missions.

Cool. I'm glad you like it. :)

I loved the Beta and thought the game had a load of potential. Even went for the lifetime subscription as I was so confident in the game and developer track record.

But last time I logged in I just couldn't find much fun stuff to do. I like rolling new chars fairly regularly, but the limited low end content means it feels the same every play through.
