The game's haunting world promises a deeper meaning, a richer narrative, than it delivers. It isn't missing dialogue or some pretentious wall of text at the end -- Limbo proves in its opening moments that it can tell volumes without using any words at all. But the disparate pieces of this otherwise intricately crafted puzzle never form a cohesive whole. Still, while it stumbles to pull everything together, Limbo is short and certainly worth experiencing, if for nothing else, than to see this beautiful, two-tone world yourself.

We present a list of horror games with depressing endings, each known for its unique experience and storytelling.

I maybe talking out of term here, but after reading this review,he comes off apathetic. It doesn't seem that he realizes Limbo is more of an experience than a traditional game, which from the review, it looks like he was expecting. He's waiting for some obvious narrative when Limbo clearly establishes that is unexplainable dream not Braid. The eerie dream approach is the narrative, not a script.
regardless, i've still heard nothing but good things about this game...
from the wiki, i read that its the companies first game, so hats off to the studio on a great first game
