
Why are all of these old school games coming back? Its seems that they wouldn't be able to match up against the newer games but they still do. We all miss the old classics.

Capcom has clarified its current stance on generative AI in its videogames. The major Japanese publisher and developer behind popular series like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter has revealed that while it doesn't use gen-AI assets in their games, it is exploring ways to use generative AI to streamline the game development process.
Using Artificial Intelligence (more like Realistic Stupidity) art assets in your games is a great way to get people to boycott your product. We don't need that ugly, unsophisticated, generic, fake art in our games, good on CAPCOM for not using that garbage.

Reason people still love listening to 60's,70's and 80's music. There is a charm and pureness that comes with the classics. And one of the criteria of a classic is that is it not limited by the time in which is it made, but rather defines it.
Because people are coming back to what matters in games: story and unique gameplay. Everything else is truly secondary.
Because old school gamers are a sizeable economic force. I've downloaded quite a few PSN games simply because the gameplay reminds me of old favorites.
They are bringing back Paperboy? I was just recently thinking someone should do that.
