ExReview: Deadliest Warrior

Ex: Probably the most realistic fighting game in the history of the genre, Deadliest Warrior has a brutally steep difficulty level that will take some time to get used to. The match-ups that you can create (pirates vs. ninjas anyone?) are epic, and though some battles may seem unbalanced, each warrior has been hand picked for the game and has plenty of moves to defend themselves.

A 5/5 really? It was alright but hardly perfect.

This is an awesome game! for 800 MS points, there's no reason you shouldn't get it if you're a fighting fan

seriously good value, idk about 5/5, but maybe the price influenced that a little

If the Ninja and Spartan classes are remotely realistic I'm all over this.

bgrundman5787d ago

I thought it kinda looked like crap...

Neco5125787d ago

Usually things from tv and movies don't fair well, this has been getting some good reviews though

bgrundman5787d ago

I think I am going to have to try it for myself first.

alphakennybody5787d ago

too bad the show went from decent to total crap after the first season now its all full of bs.

Krimmson5787d ago

Even the first season wasn't that great.

Apparently Yakuza use sais and nunchuks instead of knives and katanas.
Pirates beat Knights only because the Pirate is a dirty fighter (throwing dirt was what made the Pirate win. No joke.)
And we needed an entire episode to tell us that a Spartan, a man trained for war all of his life, can easily kill a ninja, a man that assassinates others in the night and usually never fought 1-on-1 considering that's not their strongest aspects (there's a reason why Samurais would always consider Ninjas as cowards).

The show was never that good to begin with. I mean sure the 1-on-1s at the end of the show are rather entertaining. But the show was still crap. Stupid, funny, entertaining crap.

Ohhh I would totally love that. I miss that game. I believe it had a sequel that was pretty good as well (checking now) yup. I remember playing both games, the second was definitely a bit more polished but both were lots of fun in their own way.

I would enjoy SE making a new game in the series. But I would also like to see the first two come out on PSN.

I never got to play it, so it would be great to have a chance on modern consoles.
