AppShouter: "As one of the most popular Free Apps on the iTunes App Store right now, I thought I’d give Zombie Duck Hunt a try. I was first interested in trying it out because, hey, Zombies. And also, hey, Duck Hunt! Who doesn’t love the classic NES Game where with the Florecent Orange Laser Gun? Well, sadly the Laser Gun is not part of Zombie Duck Hunt, but it’s super fun and just as addictive as the original."

DIYgamer: "In theory, Broken Thumbs Apps Zombie Duck Hunt is nearly a perfect idea. What gamer doesn’t remember Duck Hunt and reminisce of an older generation of gaming? Moreover, why would gamers not appreciate playing a similar experience on their heavily favored handhelds in the modern day? But see, I think this works both ways — some will love it, and some won’t care in the least bit. I’m impartial; I enjoy Zombie Duck Hunt, but can’t see myself playing it for too long."

Multi4mat writes: The game is pretty much the same as the 8-bit title it’s based upon, except that the ducks have become somewhat zombified – on a 2D plane, ducks, pidgeons and geese move around the fixed background. Players must position their crosshairs over these unsuspecting and undead creatures by way of tilting the device – firing and reloading is controlled by two on-screen buttons.
Crazy Mike's:
At first blush one would think that neither zombie’s nor duck’s really go together. But, once you start playing Zombie Duck Hunt by Broken Thumb Apps you may change your tune. This app is a nice hunting app that occasionally brings out the worst in the duck’s, quail, and geese that you are trying to kill. One tip don’t let any of the aforementioned poultry turn red. This app costs $0.99 and receives 4.5 out of 5 CrazyMikes Head’s for unique zombie game play.
