Yeah thats why they are patching up their old titles to support Move

"They have a folder containing five titles and a release date and thats (sic) it."

blumatt5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

Discrete Austin Powers reference? (Goldmember maybe?)
--------------
Anyway, at least Sony's patching older games and supporting new hardcore games for use with it. The same can't be said of Kinect.

captain-obvious5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

ehh

it looks like everyone works for MS is like this (troll)
no wonder Greenberg is a troll too just like this guy

jwatt5796d ago

Just by looking at "Sorcery" alone I think Sony is really serious. It's the best looking motion control game in my eyes!

FlipMode5796d ago

No Sony definitely cares about Move, I don't though.

beardpapa5796d ago

Ms didn't give a sh*t about Kin.

oh look what i did there!

karl5796d ago

MS doesnt give a shit about hardcore gamers!

I think you're required to take a 6-week course on trolling once you're hired by Microsoft. It's a running theme with these guys. Make sure someone who runs a blog or better is around, channel your inner 12-year old, start talking about Sony.

sikbeta5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

@Conloles

What... you care about that? I mean PS3 owners don't care about the Economic situation of Sony Corp, why, suddenly, you care about that?

O-T

skwidd5796d ago

I think he's just bitter cuz they lost the World Cup.

PS3istheshit5796d ago

I actually tried to think about it when I read the title but I couldn't find any proof of Sony not giving a sh*t about move
And yea sorcery, socom, & killzone are just 3 games that shat in this article

PoSTedUP5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

@ sikbeta- no hes right, sony dosent give a crap about losing money, they will lose money to give us the best games, best hardware and best gaming experiences ever, history has proven this and when it comes to sony: fans first- profit second. they will risk it for us, they will take ridiculous chances for us, sony is all about quality and giving the consumers the best for their money. THATS why i love and support sony, we are not only loyal to them, they are loyal to us.

@ conloles- thanks for bringing that up bro you are 100% correct.

ChickeyCantor5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

God you Englishmen/Americans have the wrong idea when it comes to dutch accents. HHAHAHA.

Im surprised MS PR never really think when they speak.

No Way5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

Is that what the wizard game, shown at Sony E3, is called?
That game looks sick! I was very impressed with it, and Move.
I just can't see playing a game like Killzone 3 with it, lol.

gman_moose5795d ago

Between this douchebag, and Greenberg, I think they've got the market on moronic bosses cornered. They are so desperate to beat Sony they act like elementary school children. It's sad and pathetic. No wonder this generation of gamers is so full of fanboys with guys like this around. They don't just fuel the fire, they bring a nuclear bomb.

If they don't give a sh*t about it, I can't wait to see what they do when they start caring!

@blumatt - If there's anything Austin Powers' father hates in this world, it's the Dutch! And this is probably why! hehehe

EDIT2 - hahaha, good movie! My favorite part is the greeting with the Mole.

blumatt5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

lol "I love goooold, the smell of it, the taste of it, the teeexxxture. I love gold so much I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate shhmmelting accident..." lmao I knew that's what he was referencing. Yeah, sounds like Goldmember has a reason to hate the Dutch. haha j/k
Edit: "Moooolllleeee! Molie Molie Molie Mooooolee!!" haha

Folezicle5796d ago

what you say is true, but we all know the biggest troll is Kevin Butler.. Pisses me off how he promotes console wars.

thebudgetgamer5796d ago

one is a comedian that acts in commercials

the other is an executive at one of the biggest companies in the world.

AlienFodder5796d ago

Now that's rich... Having a hard time differentiating reality from fiction, aren't you?

ChickeyCantor5796d ago

@thebudge

I wonder if Nintendo was also onto it. I mean this is just advertisement for Nintendo as well.

To bad they dont these things anymore =(.

dragonelite5796d ago

Kevin butler a troll under sony paycheck.
This troll under microsoft paycheck.
Dont see the difference but because kevin butler is fictional its all okey to make fun of competition. Bring back the sonic vs mario wars.

Kevin butler is allowed to make fun of kinect and wii but when nintendo makes fun of sony 3D sony feels butthurt.

BrianC62345795d ago

If you hate Kevin Butler you're just an idiot with no sense of humor.

Spydiggity5795d ago (Edited 5795d ago )

using the term 'comedian' awfully loosely aren't we?

i was under the impression comedians were funny.

i do agree though, you can't really call a terrible, unfunny actor a troll...he's just doing his job.

really enjoyed this little read. it gives you a little glimpse into how much effort and control goes into the pr and marketing side of gaming. makes you wonder though...how many opinions being expressed by the end user are their own, and not just a derivative of the PR they ingest on a regular basis. sony are very good at spin...no doubt about that.

MS Doesnt give a eff about exclusive games!!!! WHERE THEY AT!

RonRico5796d ago

He's obviously referring to the marketing and media budgets. MS loves wasting more time and $$ on that than the actual products.

PSfan095796d ago

crackdown 1.5,, i mean 2, that counts right

ActionBastard5796d ago

MS doesn't give a shit about showing Kinect working. Anyone see that Macy's vid? nuff said.

PSfan095796d ago

lol i know, sad tbh, kinect is for casuals and they cant even have the right instructors

inception1235796d ago

if it is for casual gamers it shouldn't really need the "right instructors" should it? it should be easy enough to pick up and play. kinect is just a poorly made product like everything else ms has put out.

memots5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

Don't say anything bad about Kinect. You'll lose another bubble.

I lost one yesterday for showing a craigslist add and telling real things that happen in the real world.

@redlogic

It made top of the page as an article (right .. a news article .. *sight* )

Redlogic5796d ago

What vid? can you link it?

sikbeta5796d ago (Edited 5796d ago )

This is the article

http://n4g.com/news/565200/...

The first video shows a dude playing bowling but his mii-too character doesn't want to throw the bowl

The second one, a dude try to make his mii-too character run in some kinect-mii-too-athletics game, but even if tried to lift up his legs more the mii-too character doesn't make any movement, kind of funny, the guy kind of wanted to make like big footsteps really awkwardly lol

And the third one, is from the guys that posted those videos in the site, complaining about an awkward showcase, talking about the employee supervising the event, saying that in the second video the camera was [pointing at the floor], but IF that's true, how the first dude could at least play the bowling game? I don't think anyone change the camera position intentionally when there is a dude supervising the event, even if he didn't care about, I'm sure he didn't let anyone touch the camera....

Sony makes its ‘Move’ into PS3 motion control

Sony’s answer to wireless motion control offers three advantages over Nintendo’s technology: the movements are a lot more precise; because it’s a camera-based system, many games can put you in the game (such as seeing yourself on the screen in “Start the Party” and “EyePet”); and the PS3 offers high-definition graphics for a more photorealistic experience over the Wii’s standard-definition visuals.

Wow this game looks interesting, I cant see it working co-op style as a friend helping would probably lead to an argument lol. Its only $10 so i will give it a try.

Rip-Ridah5727d ago

Well worth the price of admission. There is a demo in the PS Store if you'd like to try before you buy.

Lovable5727d ago

This game is the reason to buy a Move. It's absolutely addicting. Like I said before, it's simple, yet so good.

PirateThom5727d ago

Tried the demo, while I doubt I'd buy the game, this may be the best "demo" for Move, accuracy, depth... just insane.

kaveti66165727d ago

I don't follow. If everyone else likes something and IGN doesn't, that makes IGN ignorant?

Do you guys think before you post over-used slogans and mantras like sheep?

coolbeans5727d ago

That's one of the biggest problems with the internet as a whole. Your reasoning is sound, and hopefully others will at least contemplate what you've said. (bubbles :D)

callahan095727d ago (Edited 5727d ago )

Yes, Kaveti, it does. This game is excellent. IGN giving it a 3.5 is disingenuous to their readers and unfair to the developers who poured their lives into making this game for however long. It has an impeccable presentation with crisp, pretty graphics, good music, a very soothing voice to the actress narrating everything, lots of variety in the missions, fun multiplayer, and incredibly accurate and impressive controls that do an excellent job of showing how the Move is a unique control scheme: this game couldn't be done on the Wii or Kinect, it requires the precision of the pointing device, which Kinect lacks, and the 3D depth tracking that the Wii lacks. It's a brilliant and inexpensive showcase for Move offering compelling puzzle experiences.

A 3.5 out of 10 is just simply the WRONG score. No opinion about it. It completely fails to acknowledge the factual features present in the game, from design to presentation to control and implementation of those schemes. It IS a good game. And the fact that IGN is the only reviewer that didn't like it is more evidence to the fact that the game itself is good, well-made, deserving of praise, and that IGN failed to see the title for what it is and tore it down for lack of that understanding.

foss35726d ago

IGN used to be good... until years ago when they started putting ads everywhere they went to the shitter.

They were one of the first sites that redirected you to a full page ad before sending you to your link. I remember seeing those and writing an email to IGN telling them I would no longer use their site because of all the spam.

Movemodo review: Racket Sports / Racquet Sports (PS3 / Move)

Quoting Movemodo's James Newton:

"With other Move titles making strides in gaming control, Racket Sports feels like a dinosaur; the motion-sensing is unreliable and could have been more accurately and enjoyably served by a button press, a disaster for any new motion control title. Racket Sports is precisely the kind of title we don’t want to see on Move. Save your money for the promising-looking Virtua Tennis 4."
