Glad I held on to this one. The DLC coming for this sounds awesome.

SeanRL5804d ago

Let us play as john in single player (for the people who have beat the game)

JonDiskonected5804d ago

you should put up spoilers, not everyone has finished the game

Buff10445804d ago

Definitely...especially the zombie pack this Fall.

marioPSUC5804d ago

this first pack coming doesnt seem like its really worth $10, but the next pack that comes with online poker and a bunch of other stuff seems like its worth it.

Can't wait to see what the Zombie DLC is gonna look like

yoshiroaka5804d ago (Edited 5804d ago )

Online poker? aww man that sounds sweet! i spent hours playing poker in red dead.

Would be cool to run in the world and then meet some friends at the table.
Beats leaving the house lol.

EDIT: looking at the screens, the guy with the bags over his shoulders is actually decent looking. I thought after seeing GTA4, the lost and the damned and now red dead i thought rockstar forgot how to make good looking people. Niko was butt ugly. But i guess they are going for a different real world look these days. No more hollywood pretty, just real life ugly lol.

DORMIN5804d ago

That guy with the bags over his shoulder, is the main character of Red Dead Revolver.

I really want to see the Zombie/Zombie Mode DLC and I really hope its what it sounds like:
Running from town to town from zombies while you are scarce on ammo. That would be epic fun in free roam.

How about single player DLC?

marioPSUC5804d ago

I would love some single player DLC, like as big as The Ballad of Gay tony or the lost and damned, both were pretty big single player DLC's, I want a single player one just like those

More like people don't play these type of games on their phone normally and don't try them out. Not like the places where people do play these games haven't crushed those numbers easily.

How many people actually played more than an hour of the game or came close to finishing it on mobile is the real question. If people aren't playing the games to a point that is purposeful, then why try when a subscription that is behind a streaming service isn't a sign of success but just curiosity.

What if Netflix becomes ‘the Netflix of gaming?!’

Alek83143d ago

I downloaded it because I already have a Netflix sub.
I am not going to buy it for $40 or whatever it costs on Google Play.

I tried it out and will be sticking to the PC version, but it's not bad.

Having said that, this is the issues I see vs the PC version:
1. Greatly reduced texture resolution.
2. Massive downgrade ALL lighting quality (this includes water, shadows, etc).
3. Stutter and heat. Prolonged play leads to both.
On the plus side, we have:
4. This thing is like 6GB vs the 12 on Steam.

Great way to try the game, but not the best way to play it.

Perhaps Netflix will make a RDR series now that ST is done with.

Lionsguard144d ago

A Netflix version of RDR?... Oh boy... I can't wait... /s

They should build a production that includes members behind the True Grit remake and Hell on Wheels from AMC. Both were perfect for wild west vibes.

gold_drake144d ago

but i doubt people ACTUALLY played it on smartphone vs tried it out.

Another free update...good to know but I don't own a series X

Petebloodyonion177d ago

I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.

Hypertension140177d ago (Edited 177d ago )

Yea I think thats what it is. I also own the game but not the expansion, and im unable to download the update.
