There are a lot of people who voted Trump who don't like the man. A vote to a candidate doesn't mean you value ALL of their ideas and philosophies or even like them. It came down to Trump and Hillary. You have to put a lot of blame on the Democratic Party. It wasn't hard to beat Trump. It's just the Democrats/liberals put themselves and every position to lose against him.
