Despite being hugely popular in Europe, Piranha Bytes' Gothic games never garnered much more than a cult following over here. That's been a loss for those who never discovered two titles that built their following on creating an expansive free-form world back in the day when rigidly linear RPGs in the Dungeons & Dragons mold ruled the universe. Finally, it's done: The gold master of Gothic 3 has been completed and delivered to the production facility. Developer Piranha Bytes, Publisher JoWooD Productions and Co-Publisher Deep Silver will be delighted to release the game on the 13th of October, on schedule.
