The only reason I'd buy Move is for the Time Crisis game. And even then we're talking low priority.

Any chance we can wait until the motion devices actually come out before we start wildly speculating? Of course data will change once they come out? Why are these people paid to state the obvious? And who are most gamers? Did you ask the people with PS3s? Did you ask people with 360? How many is this 'most gamers?' 10 people? 20 people? 10 million? there are almost as many PS3 owners as 360 owners so how could a few million tip the scales so far? Where do i get a job like this to state the obvious and get paid

i heard that most of the Move game will cost $39.99 and most of the (Kinect4) games will cost $59.99 Can someone name (1) kinect4 game that is worth $59.99. i can name alot of Move Game that are worth $59.99 and $39.99. K3,HR and ect.... the sorcery game looks like steal for $39.99....

i plan on getting move without question.sure over the years i've played castlevania,mega man,contra,gunstar,dmc,metroid ,ninja gaiden,streets of rage,etc.but i like to game any and every type of way.

if virtual reality headsets were on the market for consoles,i'd buy that too.when i go to gameworks,i play gun games like la machine guns and house of the dead.racing games like f355 and initial D.but gaming isn't just playing with a joystick or controller.it could be with a keyboard or mouse.gamers don't shy away from games because of the controller.THEY ADAPT.that's what gamers do:ADAPT.just like the ones hating on killzone.they are not gamers.because they refuse to adapt.

i have eyetoy and pseye.and i have had fun with both.i've watched dr marks over the years trying to make motion control work for sony.from wands,drink cups in 2005 E3.gaming is fun.move looks like fun.even kinect could be fun with the right software.but i like sony's accuracy and use of buttons.because i want a deeper experience.and with 3D,an immersive experience.

The fact of the matter is that the early adopters of the new motion tech will be the current install base of both consoles. Word of mouth and advertising will then bring in more of the casual gamers over time.

Sony's advantage is that at launch, the Move will have games that cater to both the hardcore and casual gamer, so both have more of an incentive to purchase Move at launch or soon after. On the other hand Microsoft has failed to 'Kinect' with it's hardcore user base (see what I did there ;) and has not shown anything of substance for which the hardcore 360 gamer can use Kinect, apart from navigating the dashboard that is. But lets be honest, is anyone really that gullible to pay $150 Just to scroll through the 360 dashboard?!? Microsoft have not shown any games for the hardcore 360 gamer that use Kinect, heck they don't even suggest that kinect is for the hardcore 360 gamer! What it has shown is cool looking shovelware, that the casual gamer has already played and traded on the wii.

What Sony is showing with it's software lineup is that Move bridges that gap perfectly between both the casual and hardcore crowd. Yes there's the usual casual shovelware (Move Party, Move Sports etc etc), and also the quality hardcore titles (SOCOM4, Killzone3, etc etc), but Sony also has games like Sorcery which appeals to BOTH the casual and hardcore gamer.

That is definately a Win for the Move IMHO!!!

Kinect will easily sell through after Black Friday demand has ripped it off the shelf..if Microsft markets it to the kid channels (especially that Kinectimals) they will see HUGE numbers for the peripheral

Don't forget the Move has almost 2 months before the Kinect to establish itself. More then enough time for advertising, sales, bundles,fixing glitches or problems and proving it's better. This crucial time could cost Microsoft the motion control war.

If "purchase intent" for Kinect is low, then "purchase intent" for Move must be incomprehensibly low.

I think that the motion controllers are going to be marketed as impulse items during the holiday season. I'll bet that this year they'll do well, but see declining sales until they become standard pack-ins with every console sold and their sales can no longer be measured.

Im buying kinect but not move i mostly use ps3 to post on n4g games not so mutch looking forward to apps for pc kinect.

I just bought the Wii to have all 3 systems in the house and i got all the excercise with the wii.

well most people are expecting a wii clone from both microsoft and sony so they have to prove them wrong

ps3 owners will buy move. families will buy 360 and kinect.
kinect will sell consoles move wont because kinect is the new thing kids will want it period. core gamers wont buy kinect till ms gets real games on it. i will just cause i dont have wii and it looks like hella fun. move will still make big sales just not console sales.

That definitely would have been the absolute worst time for stick drift to happen...

I always wanted a true to life surgery simulator for PSVR1. I always knew those Move controllers were precise AF under the proper conditions.

Move was a very accurate device under good conditions. Dr Marks even wanted to open it up for hobbyists and developers to extract more data to do more things. I even seen him use it for space, astronaut like simulations.

Sony always had the tech. They just needed the software to go with it. PS Move limit was not having an analog stick. Which it seems the PS5 controller made up for that.

I would like to see them use PS VR 2 for surgery or something with that eye tracking built in.
