But with a small inventory of guns and flash bombs got boring imo....Loved the music and the atmosphere this game gave off...I dont think this game is worth 60 dollars though...thats madness. Playing this game in the dark is the only way it should be played...

$49.99 at Amazon.com for a good two months now. i just don't have the money to pick it up right now. it's going to have to wait until a little later.

And I was disappointed with the game. His running narrative was pretty cheesy and the game lacked the subtlety that I enjoy in thrillers.

That said, I think I came in with unbelievably high expectations for the game that touts itself to be a psychological action thriller, when, it's actually more of a survival horror.

I guess I was hoping for more of a Dark Seed or Eternal Darkness vibe.

It's far from a bad game, but I don't feel like it was worth the long long long wait after all the delays. Alan Wake is literally almost a sole reason I got a 360 4 years ago, and they clearly changed up a significant amount of the game from the story to the gameplay. The voice acting is some of the worst I've experienced in years, which is going to end up being a big deal, being that it's a single player story game, and the combat mechanics can sometimes be kinda rough around the edges, which also got repetitive after a while. The story itself is also a little convoluted, but like I said, not a bad game overall, just not too memorable in the end.

Bought this day one and enjoyed it..I was extremly pissed off to hear that it had low sales despite all the hype 360 owners threw behind it..

I will buy this game at 30 bucks. A single player game can wait. Im not one of those retards who buys a single player game on day 1 when its 65 dollars. Unless its one of those 60 hour single player experiences like RPGs or something.

Amazing game. If you like Stephen King than this game is just for you. Absolutely amazing adult oriented horror game. Since it's just a single player game than a rental would suffice. I usually don't buy single player games unless they're huge like Dragon's Age. But with the price cut and the extra content coming out, I might pick it up eventually.

This game was great i cant believe it sold terribly. i wish 360 owners would stop buying fps games by the millions and actually give their money to decent developers who deserve the cash.

Why waste money on a game where Alan Wake isn’t in it for a good part of the game. Also, since you don’t own the game and they can cut you off at anytime why would you buy that many. Unless she was going to resell them for a profit, charity give away, or something like that.
