Raymond Herrera of Examiner.com dropped by the Xseed Games meeting room during this year’s E3 and had the opportunity to try out two of their upcoming titles, Ys SEVEN for the Sony PSP and Ivy the Kiwi? for the Nintendo Wii and DS.
"Ivy the Kiwi? was the first title I was shown and while the gameplay is fairly simple it was a fun and cute game. Developed by PROPE, the studio created by Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, the game tells the story of a young bird, Ivy as she searches the forest looking for her mother, after falling from the sky and being separated.
Built from the ground up specifically for the PlayStation Portable Ys: SEVEN offers over 30 hours of RPG gameplay. Players will control Adol and also his companions as they venture into a long journey where they will try to save the kingdom of Altago from destruction and reunite the five tribes that serve as protectors for the Five Great Dragons."

Combat was fun and story was ok but it wasn’t as good as 8 7 6 etc . It’s still one of my favorite franchises . Just bought Ys Book 1&2 on DS . I have the Turbo Grafx 16 copy also .
With Rune Factory 5 on the horizon, XSEED Games is taking a moment out of its busy schedule to celebrate the series' history with a special 15th anniversary trailer.
Didn't RF5 already release in Japan half-baked and full of framerate and loading issues? Did they fix anything?

While its true that Yuji Naka hasn’t been churning out classics over the last fifteen years, a closer look at his work over that time shows a creator with a singular vision
