Man, Xbox has alway been thought of as the console for shooters but PS3 has got some quality coming out this year, not even counting Killzone next year. Wheres my Frag FX?

IMO FPS are growing in popularity becasue it's easy and it's tried and true. When devs want to make somthing new and differant, some new IP they take a gamble. A FPS is a way to make a well rounded game, you can offer a good SP experiance as well as add a good MP component. Now I may just be a hardcore FPS fan and could be biased (porbably am) Also you don't have to have guns for a FPS style game because I'm also a Thief fan.

FPS has only one camera FP and if devs screw that up well... they know what happens. IMO PS3 fans should start getting used to FPS being pumped out more than anything else, they will get the other style games they like but it will be FPS galor.

Yeah I played the demo for this game for 360 it a pretty good game both in game play and graphics.

Yeah I liked the demo. Doesn't this have co-op as well?

Say Whaaaat???

Tried the demo, was mediocre at the best. 360 has had and will have much better fps than this, unless they really improved upon the demo.

this title will not sell well on the PS3. It's going head-to-head with Heavenly Sword. I don't understand the rationale for such a decision. Guess they figured the bulk of their sales will be on the 360 anyways.

If it turns out to be good, perhaps it will become a PS3 sleeper hit... we'll see.

Gaming for Official Use Only: Area 51

Derik Moore of Gaming Rebellion Writes: "Welcome to another Gaming For Official Use Only. I have wanted to cover this topic for a long time, but I really couldn’t decide on which Area 51 game I would cover. There’s the classic light gun arcade game from the 1990’s, and a fairly forgotten FPS reboot from the 2000’s. I spent too much time trying to figure out which I would cover until it hit me: I don’t have to choose. I’ll cover both before going on to probably the most well known conspiracy theory in mainstream media. Let’s start with the awesome light gun game."

Bargain Bin Reviews: Blacksite Area 51 | Entertainment Buddha

EB's Nat Smyth writes, "Blacksite Area 51 piqued my curiosity when I was a new Xbox 360 owner in 2007, and I had seen it on the shelf too many times in visits to my local Gamestop to pass it up, so I finally bought it. What I got when I played it was a dull, lifeless, and somewhat ugly looking first person shooter that didn’t hold up at all next to the recently released Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."
