Sean Lowery: "I recently had the unique opportunity to try out the newly-launched cloud gaming service called OnLive. For those of you unfamiliar with the service, think if it as playing a game that is running on another computer over the internet. So it is kind of like playing a game through a glass window, except what happens in that window is recorded and anyone online at the time can watch you play (and give you a thumbs up or a thumbs down). You also can take that session and resume it from any PC or Mac that you use."

It's a step forward for Stop Killing Games.
yeah good luck onlive.i know your unusable in all but 3 countries in the world.sweden, usa and japan.
i know in rural britain ull be lucky to get 8mb dl speeds with a monthly cap.
I came away fairly impressed. The response to commanded movement on most titles was spot on - with the exception of AC2 - and I was able to have a good time. They generously let you demo the games and watch others playing to help you decide if you are truly interested.
Overall, those with heavy duty gaming rigs need not apply, but those looking to game on a laptop or underpowered, older PC should really consider OnLive.
I went in doubtful but came out rather impressed.
Its a great idea.
I agree with the author of this OP. If you have an alternative,360,ps3,pc...then no need for this. When i travel my laptop and ps3 are with me,so why would i need this. Cool idea, but doesn't better the other options out there as currently configured IMHO. Wireless option, might help it in competing in the market place sooner.
do enough to get themselves bought out by one of the big boys.
