So, Who won E3 2010?

GB writes: "E3 just finished, and left us with the horrifying memories of the Sony conference (though it DID have some high points, such as Twisted Metal, inFamous 2, and last, but not the least, Kevin Butler). What it also left us with was a spectacular conference from...."

I guess for the most part it was Nintendo. But for the most part MS was all about Kinect and Sony was all about Move. So yeah I guess Kinect.

It was definitely horrifying with all the faked demos, circus acts, and white ponchos.

Oh wait... O_O

lol!

If anyone saw the 3 conferences and say MS won, they should get their head checked.

Nintendo won! Ok! Its clear as crystal! Everyones favorite characters made a debut and the 3DS made quite an impact. They sold you the 3DS! Everyone got excited about it and want one now. Besides, Ninty didnt even mention the price to not kill their hype.

Sony was 2nd best! They didnt get number one spot simply because they had too much products to talk about. PS2, PSP, 3D, Move, PS3, partners support, first party games, PSN+, it was simply too much content to actually made an impact on a specific theme. Also, Sony had the balls to talk about prices! Something neither of two competitors did!

MS was so poorly made they thought htye could save the day by throwing away free 360s to the so easy to buy "media" there. Demos os Kinect were pre recorded and really awkward to watch. That little girl faking the licks from a non existent pet was simply depressing.

By substance, SONY won! By good presentation and surprise, Nintendo won. MS was just... sad...

Yes and Move tracking errors and major lag on stage with Kevin Butler talking out of his A$$ was great.

i would say the gamers/consumers won.

I am taking that stance because of the 50+ other topis asking the same question. In reality, it will vary on who you ask so I say...STOP ASKING!!!!

E3 is passed and we can move on to thinking about what the future holds for the titles shown. Win lose or draw (hey, that was a tv show i think) in the end all I know is my bank account will be really light after buying all the great titles coming out.

I can tell you who lost: N4G users with all these stupid articles.

And nintendo was all about 3DS? if you were to cut the time each company spent tlaking about the MOve, Kinect, and 3DS im pretty sure you'll see Kinect was the highest. It was basiclaly the whole show. Between nintendo and Sony is questonable, they even had more than 4 games to show off. Plus Sony didn't have the time to show off every game they had. Apocalypes wasnt on stage, it was part of the Live demo. thats because if they had the time they would of shown the game, but they had to choose the most important games for the audience.

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

Scissorman78d ago

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
