Joystiq: "While E3 attendees file out of a darkened room after a demonstration of the new Mortal Kombat, series co-creator Ed Boon is approached by a pair of enthusiastic fans. He gladly gives them a few autographs, and his face lights up in surprise when he learns that they've grown enamored with the fighting franchise in their 18 years of existence -- despite being born well after its inception. Has Mortal Kombat really been around for almost 20 years?"

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

A new book detailing the artwork of the franchise has been announced
Let me fix this title to something less click baity for you:
New Book: Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory Announced.
I grew up on this stuff. Adding it to the art collection!
I do hope the next MK iteration goes back to the core of what made these characters appeal in the first place. A few of them lost their edge - I think I've had enough with some of the auntie designs 😂

Ahead of the release of the new Mortal Kombat skins in Fortnite, Epic Games has given players a first look at Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden.
This was one of the best games at E3 imho. I can't wait till spring 2011 D:
the game looks cool but I expected more from the visuals, not so much the quality but the evenness of the quality
some of the stuff they have show looks incredible and other portions look really bad
for instance characters like scorpion and sub zero look great, however reptile and kung lao look rather flat and bland in comparison
hopefully it gets even up a bit before launch, I'm hoping this game does well
