Examiner.com’s Raymond Herrera visited Riot Games during E3 to learn a little more about their upcoming update to the hit PC title League of Legends, Season One. During the meeting the three major changes, Ranked Mode, Ladders, and Draft Mode were all discussed as well as the changes to the games user interface, all of which are what the fans have been hoping for.
"As I sat with Riot Games and also next to a fan and player it was clear all of these changes would truly be something the fans would be looking forward to as the young man sitting next to me lit up with excitement and could not believe what he was seeing, Riot Games listened to their players and is giving them exactly what they want, which is always great to see from a game company. One thing that was clear was that Riot truly does care about their players and they have a true passion for their game."

Starting Patch 26.5, severe toxicity gets you removed from games, not just muted. Riot says DMs will count next. League of Legends Patch 26.5 bans will get a level up. Riot Games has revealed plans to punish people who are abusive in chat with huge bans. Starting in Patch 26.5, gameplay bans will be given for players who are “severely disruptive” in comms, rather than just chat bans.

The League of Legends maker has eliminated around 12 roles across three publishing teams.

Riot Games: "After a lot of discussion and reflection, we are reducing the size of the 2XKO team.
I want you to know that decision wasn’t made lightly. As we expanded from PC to console, we saw consistent trends in how players were engaging with 2XKO. The game has resonated with a passionate core audience, but overall momentum hasn’t reached the level needed to support a team of this size long term."
