Jason Weissman of Game Rant writes, "Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person military shooter that aims to bring a more cinematic and intense feel to the modern warfare genre. The title is being developed by YAGER and will be published by 2K Games. We were able to get a sneak peek of the gameplay from the first half of the game while at E3, and we’re glad to report that this is a definitely a title to keep on your radar."

2K Games didn't say how many people have been put out of work, but the list includes well-known veterans of Civilization and Marvel's Midnight Suns.
