David Jaffe, the all-around awesome industry wise guy and creative mind behind the recently announced PS3-exclusive Twisted Metal, has let loose a cornucopia of new info regarding the upcoming title.
David Jaffe, creator of God of War, supports Xbox Game Pass even after price increases, calling it a strong value for players who enjoy multiple titles.
David Jaffe, the same guy who said Metroid Dread was awful all because he didn't know to shoot up to find a hidden shootable ceiling. THAT DAVID JAFFE?!
Hahaha, so when ex-bosses and game devs say something negative about Xbox, they are spot on, but if they say something positive, they are crazy, washed up, and out of touch? N4G logic all day lol.
His Logic is sound, he doesn't just say it, he is actually doing the math, and showing "HIS" personal gaming habits. I 100% agree, and said the same on the thread when it all happened, it is perfect logic, depending on how you game. Hell, some people only buy Madden, NBA2K, or CoD each year and nothing else. Do we tell those people they are crazy for buying a system for one or two games and nothing else? Then you have the people who play 10 games in one month. Are they crazy as well? We gotta be objective, and realize gaming all comes down to what type of gamer you are.
Additionally, just like PS+, GP has multiple tiers. If Ultimate is too high, get premium, it's almost just like PS+, a lot of games, and AAA games added within the year. Again, it just depends on the type of gamer and how you play games during the year.
Gotta love it.
Why is this news? If he doesn’t care about the price hike, that’s his prerogative. I don’t understand the relevance here. This feels like some juvenile a** bullsh*t to stir up stuff.
There will be people who don’t care about the Gamepass price and that’s fine. I don’t care how people cope with it or find value, I won’t support it out of principle to what this company is doing.

Twisted Metal is getting an interesting promotion at San Diego Comic-Con.

Cyberpunk 2077, Abiotic Factor, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and more
Twisted Metal 3 and 4 join PlayStation Plus Premium.
Wow cyberpunk is a great pick up. If you haven’t played it you should definitely give it a try
Despite owning the 2077 One X console and the steelbook edition of the game... i still have never played it. I may actually give 2077 a try (via the portal) as there has been so much talk about it again, thanks to SW2 and now this comparison vid from DF. https://youtu.be/SvGQik3m6a...
Cyberpunk and Risk of rain 2 are the best of the bunch. Not a bad month if you are one of the few that haven't played those games.
Cyberpunk is probably one of the best games I've ever played, even when it came out with all the bugs and glitches and broken gameplay on consoles, I still loved it at its core because the world was exactly what I wanted in a dystopian vision of the real future and the story was actually well done and compelling. With the fixes and then Phantom Liberty I just knew that this game could've been GOTY winner if it hadn't been released too early and released on PS5. XBX and two years later.
Might give cyberpunk a chance now that the game redeemed itself . Is it only the basic game or with the newer content ?
I like that people still support the SIXAXIS functionality. The way Tools of Destruction, MGS4, Heavy Rain and many others have done it proves that it wasn't all stupid to put it in there. I also like to use SIXAXIS in Warhawks in flight mode. Then you can use the left stick to aim! So very good decision Jaffe.
Jaffe is the man.
Comon Sony let there be a CE.
"We are gonna be rock solid stable but not 60. Move and Twisted don’t seem a great fit."
Developers can choose weather or not they want to use it for their game. With Wii motes, it has to be in every game so it turns into a gimmick really fast, not to mention some games are not fit for on hand motion controlling such as shooters and RPGs. I like that developers and choose and sony isnt forcing this on gamers. Maybe nintendo will realize that motion controls are not the future but are a great add on for certain games.
The focus on the "Teen rating" is a good thing, it will get a much wider audience and potentially more sales, doing that.
I did not play a twisted' since the ps1, i don't know if the gameplay will remain so fun... Because, i tried the Vigilante8 remake on the xbla and i did not find it amusing at all while i spent countless hours on the original.
I hope i'm not just too old for that.^^
