First MOH Beta gameplay + info

The first thing you will notice is the high level of detail and scale, but map a little less than Bad company 2 but it more adrenaline. We have 3 classes and each class have customasize weapons. 2 sides: the terrorists (aka Arabs), and brave warriors (aka usa). Arms relevant.
The graphics in comparison with bad company better, explosions and even steeper than the destruction of the present course at home you will not let anyone tear down fences, but the walls and stuff please.

I'll repeat just once more : sucks.

feeling is awefull, maps are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too small, they removed destruction, weapons are bad, there is no incensitive to play with mates...just sucks.

it's a step backward from MW1 and BC2

chak_5794d ago

I've nothing against disagrees, though can't you express yourself?

Did you play it?

I too thought it was good seeing E3 videos, but after playing an hour or so, it's not.

Really, it's not

4lenangel5794d ago

I've played a few rounds. I really didn't like it too. Somehow, it's just a turnoff.

The game lacks severe polish. There were a ton of networking errors last night that hopefully got stabilized.

Still, the game is not great. People say it is a beta but guess what? The BC2 beta was MUCH better. And betas so rarely change completely from a full game. Devs really don't use betas properly, the only one I know that seems to take it seriously is Bungie.

The game just feels off. I'm disappointed in DICE because I wonder if this means BC2 will get neglected. And BC2 already has issues that need fixing and it also is need of a severe content upgrade in terms of modes and maps.

Biggest5794d ago

I had to stop with the RPGs. Every time I destroyed a tank my game froze. And yeah. . . Not so good. But the BC2 beta was even worse for me. So I won't hate the game just yet. The areas LOOK good. But the current map is a bit too restrictive. The gun feel plain weird. And minus the rocks and such, I feel the game looks fake. I'm not impressed right now.

There are tons of videos on YouTube from day 1 of the beta. Videos much better than this.

DJexs5794d ago

The graphics on this blow.
The game constantly freezes.
The muzzle flash is incredible large and stupid.
And I do not like the fact that they do not even let us try out a sniper rifle in the game.

FanboyPunisher5794d ago

It looks like crap!

It feels cheap!

Paradise5794d ago

yeah

better than modern warfare 2

MOH Hacks Released 4 Hours After Beta Goes Live!

EA released the Medal of Honor Beta June 17th and only 4 short hours later a full hack was working for the game. You can see a preview of the hack on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watc... as well as full information on it listed here - http://medalofhonorhack.blo...

xg-ei8ht5794d ago

I'm not very impressed tbh.

Maps were small and confined, graphics looked decentish, some shimmering on trees etc.

Also i found before you even know where you being shot at, your dead. Game also crashed on me twice.

Imo, BFBC2 is the better game. I know this is a beta, but i don't really expect much to change.

I'd rather other maps in BFBC2.

514guy5794d ago

it's just BF:BC2 Mod i'm not planning on buying it =( EA i'm very disappointed

Video Game Franchises in Danger of Being Forgotten

The gaming industry moves at such a pace that it’s not surprising we’ve seen countless franchises fall into obscurity over the years.

Im surprised that a game with a heritage of Medal of Honor is in this list.

cthulhucultist537d ago

There is a rumour that Driver 1 & 2 remasters will be released for Switch and presumably for other systems as well.

https://www.gamingbible.com...

Not sure however whether this results into new games in the near future.

HellspawnPR1981537d ago

Ninja Gaiden? Splinter Cell? Tenchu? Virtua Fighter? Killer Instinct? Killzone?

DefenderOfDoom2536d ago

I would very much enjoy
a new dedicated single player Killzone campaign. With a fun multi-player.

cthulhucultist536d ago

Tenchu and Killer Instict would be great indeed!

Unfortunately new Killzone game does not seem to be in the works

Virtua Fighter is going to receive a new entry!

https://www.dualshockers.co...

Splinter Cell is likely to be one of the remasters launching next year (not sure whether this has to do anything with the remake previously announced)

https://toronto.ubisoft.com...

HellspawnPR1981536d ago

Yeah, read the news about a new Virtua Fighter and I am so ready for it. Splinter Cell at this point I don't believe anything Ubisoft says plus I don't think modern day Ubisoft can make a decent stealth game. They will likely fuck it up.

Inverno537d ago

Basically everything at this point as companies have no concern with preservation.

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

banger88739d ago

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

FPS_D3TH738d ago

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

PrecursorOrb738d ago (Edited 738d ago )

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

The_Hooligan738d ago

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.

Medal of Honor 2010 was a good start for a modern reboot. The campaign was fantastic. Multiplayer wasn't great but that's DICE's fault. I'd love if they went back to that game and gave it a proper sequel.

SlothLordPootus1234d ago

I actually really liked the multiplayer in MoH 2010. Battlefield gunplay on small maps. I would love to see a Rising sun remake, the opening scene would be amazing to see.

SonyStyled1234d ago

I enjoyed the multiplayer of MoH 2010. It felt like battlefield 3 in a way. The multiplayer in Warfighter was also pretty good but the campaigns single player story was not appealing with the whole family cutscene thing. Gameplay was fun though. MoH to me is the PS1/2 titles and I don’t expect to see a WW2 MoH after the last Call of Duty’s

Levii_921234d ago

PS1 MOH 1999 and 2000 (Underground) and Allied Assault PC is my childhood.. it's still soo good and it holds up. Not to mention Michael Giacchino's soundtrack is one of the best video game soundtracks ever made. Even if you weren't born in early to mid 90's go listen to the main theme of Allied Assault and you will be overloaded from nostalgia.

I miss this franchise a lot.

Iceball20001234d ago

I’ve always thought that MOH and Battlefield should be separate…

Have MOH as the full fledged single player with an amazing store and whatnot. And a basic multiplayer just to have multiplayer. Sorta like how the MOH reboot was.

And then have BF as the full fledged multiplayer with all effort put into that and ditch the single player. Maybe add Commander back in.

Only in a perfect world.

HeliosHex1234d ago (Edited 1234d ago )

Oh man medal of honor on pc was awesome back in the day. Multi-player was fun. Joined my first clan on medal of honor. Definitely deserves a comeback. But needs to be on the same level or surpass COD. Since it came out before that ip in 1999 to avoid embarrassment.

FGHFGHFGH1234d ago

The guys who did Allied assault are the one who created call of duty. They're back at EA, Vince something

MadLad1234d ago

I'll be the weird guy in the room and say I actually loved Warfighter. I thought the squad mechanics made it stand out a bit and thought the shooting felt good. Put a lot of time into the multiplayer.
