People who bought Tron: Evolution on Steam have been locked out of their purchases unless highly specific conditions were met. This mess is courtesy of SecuROM and expired licenses but pirates were unaffected almost entirely.

It's called Games with Gold and they are free games. You don't have to like all the games being offered but we just got Sunset Overdrive, Wolf Among us, Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment, Xcom , The Crew, Goat Simulator, Super Meat Boy etc in the previous months. Limbo and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 were also given away as a bonus last month..and I'm sure there are many xbox fans out there willing to try out Tron.

It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other's fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let's take a look.
AAHHHHH TRON!
I have to admit, I was really skeptical about this game since I heard it'll (like the movie) ignore everything that happened in Tron 2.0 by Monolith, which to this day is still one of the greatest, innovative and original FPS I have ever played.
So obviously since the developers of the last Turok were making this, I thought it was going to fail, coupled with movie to game adaption. HOWEVER, what it does look like is a great PoP and God of War type action game and I am LOVING the attention to detail of the Tron world. In other words, it's looking good.
And I hope it does better in tying up the events of the game into the movie than Enter the Matrix did.
I'm going to have to play this.
