Hmm it's a difficult one this.

At the moment, I would argue it's not really enhancing your online experience WHILST playing games, because no new features for online gaming have really been announced. However, I would argue that the free games, discounts and other features are a beginning point. The service can only get better.

It's a start and I think the money you would save is very attractive; however, the online experience whilst you are playing still remains the same. That's not necessarily a negative thing, but I welcome an upgrade in features. We'll just have to see.

I felt like it was worth the cost. But I felt they could have added more. Sony did say they will add more features in updates for the future so that is good. They should do surveys on what we want and the highest voted should be added as a feature on the Ps+

I think they might have missed the mark somewhat. PSN is pretty damn good already at no cost. There are some features of Live that I definitely prefer, but having to pay to enjoy them is rather lame.

As it stands right now though I'm not too certain I want to be subscribing to both of them. So for now I'll stick with Live.

What PSN does need imo is a XMB redesign, to make everything much more accessible and less clunky.

I don't really play minis or the PS1 classics that end up on the EU store but if I did then the free games each month would probably be enough to tempt me into signing up.

I'm still interested in the service but I think I'll probably wait until they add more features to it.

One of the main reasons X360 gamers subscribe to Gold Live is the online multiplayer games. Everything else on Gold Live can be cool but not able to play online gaming is the main draw to Gold Live.

With free PSN, PS3 gamers already have the most wanted feature, online multiplayer. Everything on PS+ are nice but not something that is must have to enjoy playing the games.

A rumor about DLC available only for PS+ can be a main draw to subscribe PS+ but that also makes the free PSN less competitive with Gold Live. To buy DLC, you only need Silver Live.

As for discount on PSN games with PS+, Sony said none of the existing features on the free PSN will be taken away. So, is Sony going to have double discount standards? Some discount on the free PSN games like what we have now, and better or more discounted games on PS+? But that will eventually turned into very few game discounts on the free PSN.

Example for this is currently on Live, Gold gets 50+% discount on several highly rated newer Arcade games. Silver can only get the Inventory Blowout on old Arcade games that aren't as discounted or as good as the Gold Arcade discount.

In a way, Sony introduced PS+ too late when they already added a lot of free features to PSN. Now, it's difficult to have must have features on PS+ to attract PS3 games to pay for it.

I'm for one isn't going to subscribe to PS+ until Sony can add must have features on PS+ and not crippling the free PSN to get me to subscribe to PS+.

Xbox 1 kicked PS2s arse in the online arena, and even now still getting whipped

I do think PS3 owns Xbox in many ways, the online arena is not one of them, thats for sure

I wonder whether with the PSN+ Qore will become available also on those regions that don't currently have it?!

I don't see why some English only content doesn't get uploaded on some European PSN as well, even non-UK European can read English and I for one would surely be interested in it!

I dont see whats wrong with getting 12 games a year for 39.99 and discounts and thens theres more to added everything has to start from somewhere.
