I really wanted to see Agent. Shame we missed it.

ipwnall5808d ago

Was FFXIII Versus... damn I want info on that game!

DeadlyFire5807d ago

List is pretty small. There is still

Agent, Versus XIII, Hitman 5, Theif 4, Doom 4, Elder Scrolls 5, Prey 2, Dead Island, Inversion, Shadow Harvest, Max Payne 3, GTA V, RUSE, FarCry 3, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ape Escape, Red Steel 3, Kings and Castles, 6 Days in Fallujeh, AionGuard, Dust 514, Zeno Clash 2, Kingdom Under Fire 2, Breach, U-Wars, The Secret World, GaiKai, OTOY

I can understand Uncharted 3. Lots of titles. Need to stretch it out just a little. We all know in development. Just like Dragon Age 2, and Mass Effect 3.

Smokeyy905808d ago

I think there was too much Move and Kinect for there to be some bigger announcements. I would have loved to have seen an Uncharted 3 teaser. Oh well. :(

Inane_Asylum5808d ago

Are you really surprised by that? Isn't this what everybody was expecting? There's this new obsession with 3D and motion control that was inevitably going to dominate E3...

Sad, really.

Smokeyy905808d ago

Yeah true. I think if Sony hadn't talked so much rather than just gotten right into it they could have had a meatier conference.

The Last Guardian is the only game I care about which didn't appear. Kind of shocked about it really.

MajestieBeast5808d ago

I think they are saving last guardian for tgs. Also think they are really giving insomniac the time to finish resistance 3, we all know they release 1 game a year but maybe sony said well guys just take your time and make it the best game you possibly can. Then we have dylan jobe's new game wouldnt surprise me if we see it at gamescom or just a magazine reveal. Still think its funny that 5 from that list are games from sony just shows who usually brings the best. But come on people we finaly got a new twisted metal.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

solideagle13d ago

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Final Fantasy VIII is great and you are always the first to defend it in the comments

Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.

jznrpg19d ago

My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.

Smellsforfree19d ago

Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.

Loktai18d ago

Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde20d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy20d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

DivineHand12520d ago (Edited 20d ago )

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
