Developed by Escalation Studios and funded by the Cyberathlete Professional League, Severity is a FPS title being built on new idSoftware technology (perhaps the Tech 5 Engine). Both Tom Mustaine (Escalation Studios) and John Romero (id Software) are working on the project so its definitely a title to keep an eye on.
Severity will be cross-platform multiplayer between Xbox 360, PS3, and PC gamers. This could be the first ever title to do all three platforms all playing eachother.
Read on for the first details on Severity for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

That Gaming Site writes: Yesterday we informed our readers that upcoming game "severity" was cancelled, today we were contacted by a developer of the game who confirmed the opposite was true!

Talk about a mess-up.But if this game does'nt have any new info or screens,it will be forgotten all over again.
its a fps game which was suppose to be released but i think they might be still workin on it

Last week eSports web site ESReality reported that the Cyber-Athlete Professional League died because of several issues. However people also made the conclusion that the game Severity had also died.
After talking with the director of Escalation Studios United States of America Tom "ParadoX" Mustaine, ESReality came to the conclusion that the game is still in development. However, their focus is at the moment not on this game but on their Wii Releases.
Cyberathlete.. I still laugh everytime I read that dribble..
So if I get really good at playing checkers can I become a checkerathlete? or how about poker players their cardathletes.
Gaming is as far away as you can get from a real Athlete.
But I digress.. PS3/Xbox360/PC game to play against each other would be good, could settle some of these fanboy arguements with a good 'ol firefight!
Aww man, not ANOTHER fps! Damn we got a ton already and we've got a ton more still coming out. I reckon most developers are only gonna start making fps's. Don't get me wrong, I like a few of them, but this is getting a bit much.
GOOD a battle between 360 and ps3, hehehe.
I thought 360 online games must connect thru MS Live and that MS Live does not interact with PS3 online anyway.
