The Digital foundry blog takes a closer look at the new Nintendo 3DS hardware:
"The inclusion of stereo 3D is also a masterstroke from Nintendo because it differentiates the handheld in a savagely competitive environment. While iPhone may be hoovering up more market share in the mobile arena, constantly re-inventing itself year after year with new hardware and features, it doesn't do 3D and likely won't for years to come, if ever. Nintendo has a unique selling point and it's certain to be another monster hit."

This image basically confirms that in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon we will be seeing an alternate story. While it has been stated by Nintendo multiple times that this was the case, they were never really clear on it.
Why in fucks name did the designs for the mc make it through the planing stages of development? They are by far the worse thing pokemon have produced.

Hey! Pikmin is brand new adventure set on the Nintendo 3DS as Captain Olimar's ship crash lands on a mysterious alien planet.
Every time I see 'released on Steam' my heart sinks. Why don't these guys release on GOG instead?

Beware Space Pirates. Beware Metroids. Samus Aran is back and she is locked & loaded.
Nintendo are the only ones with portable 3D. And they are certainly making a lot of games for it too. Would wish they made it a bit more powerful in the graphics department, but at least they upgraded it some.
Hard to really know how the 3D works before without having seen it in real life. If it's not to expensive I just might get one...
Wow portable DREAMCAST games and great glassless 3D, I'M TOTALLY SOLD ON THIS and i hope the rumors of the expanded online & chat features are true. I just need a new 3D side scrolling metroid and castlevania for this and i'll be set for portable games for a long time, besides the mario kart, metal gear ha.
i want to try that MGS demo too !!!
This has certainly raised my eyebrows! Great move by Nintendo.
They say it has no shaders but if you look at the MGS, Resident Evil and Street Fighter demos it must have shaders! There's no way a Dreamcast could render those games as they appear on the 3DS.
