The early select screen, special moves, tag team combat and the return of proper, awesome fatalities!

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

I grew up on this stuff. Adding it to the art collection!
I do hope the next MK iteration goes back to the core of what made these characters appeal in the first place. A few of them lost their edge - I think I've had enough with some of the auntie designs 😂

Ahead of the release of the new Mortal Kombat skins in Fortnite, Epic Games has given players a first look at Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden.
cant wait, a big MK fan!
I hope they have the actual Pit in this game. And not the Pit/Pit 2 hybrid that is shown in the trailer. But it's a minor complaint in an otherwise awesome first look.
back to kicking ass, pulling heads off and cutting people in half, they better have quan chi back
durring Sony's conference in one of there compilation vids, i was happy when the guy was cut in half :)
I hope they have the fast paced combat of the first 2 titles. Once they went 3d and hardcore with the combos, it got boring. I loved being able to button mash and punch super fast. I hated the 3d games because I would be hitting X fast, but my guy would punch once every 2-3 seconds or something. It was really annoying.
