Epic win Sony, even if 1up sort of already announced this one earlier.

Week one buy.

I was just thinking of replaying the Sly Cooper games recently. I guess I'll hold off on that until this comes out. Can't wait.

Didnt know they called it Sly Racoon in the non-US territories. Here in Asia, its called Sly Cooper, just like the US.

It was called Sly Racoon in NZ for the PS2 version but on the PS3 game it's called Sly Cooper.

BiggCMan5613d ago

I really want this. I only ever played and beat the first one a long time ago and I really enjoyed it.

TBM5613d ago (Edited 5613d ago )

i've beaten them all, and i just finished the 1st one earlier today. now im playing the 2nd game in the series. man i love this series so much, and out of the 3 this, J&D, R&C(love both series too). Sly is the purest of the platformers. great series and i love all

oh one more thing these games look beautiful remastered. excellent job SP. i just more people would buy this collection.

Elimin85613d ago

I disagree. While I do like Sly Trilogy I think Jak & Daxter is way better.. I do however respect your opinion and as such this is mine...

TBM5612d ago

that's cool i love all 3 series, but for me Sly does feel the purest out of the 3 in terms of platforming.

Newtype5613d ago

I am almost done with Sly 2. Then going to platinum Sly 3. Gets me prepared for Sly 4.

Motorola5613d ago

Is it me or does SLY 2 look the best out of all of them? Maybe I havent played enough SLY 3 in HD. But i played them all each 100 hours on the PS2

b163o15613d ago

Platinumd first2, going right in the 3rd. Easy Platinums!!!

Shazz5613d ago (Edited 5613d ago )

I'm only 52% through 1st one but dang collecting those bottles is addicting I want all the moves

@ motorola. Ohhh sounds great cant wait now

TBM5613d ago

pickpocketing the bad guys is more addicting then the bottles once you get to part 2 lol.

Elimin85613d ago

Haha.. Yeah it is. spent a lot of time in 3 looting guys...

gaden_malak5613d ago

Great game. I platinum'd the first and now starting the second.

redsquad5613d ago (Edited 5613d ago )

The HD Collection is my first exposure to Sly, Bentley, Murray and the sexy Carmalita (seriously, she's HOT!!), and I'm loving every minute of it.
The first game had me banging my head in frustration a few times due to the limted health (fighting Clockwerk with no 'horseshoe' protection saw me sweating profusely!!), but both sequels improved on the first immensely. It's soooo easy to spot all the things that ultimately led to INFAMOUS too.

All in all, superb value, great looking games and WAY BETTER (in my view) than just playing the originals on a BC PS3.

GeneGodHand5613d ago

I have the collection too loving it.
