So on top of it not being directed by Kojima, playing as a lame character, and having a story that's not cannon. This game also ends up being a hack & slash. I knew the game would be irrelevant but it looks like it's going to flop too.

Im sorry this KInect is wack. There is nothing and I mean nothing impressive about this. The sports game is just like the old Nintendo power pad. I don't even here people cheering at all. This is excruciating to watch, but I can't seem to stop. Its so funny.

I was on the fence about Kinect until I saw the demo for Kinectimals at the press conference, now I'm sure, I'm definitely NOT interested anymore whatsoever. It was so promising...... I'm sick and tired of the Kinect stuff.....

The best thing in the press conference so far was Metal Gear Solid Rising.

I don't even like Dance Games but dance central is the best Kinect game I have seen so far.

Microsoft disappoints again at E3. Timed exclusive Downloadable contect, followed by the almost yearly franchises, followed by "Casual Carnage". Ugh, very disappointing.

Halo Reach and Gears look awesome though, but that's about it.

The whole show was ehh. Only real thing interesting to me was MGSR, GEOW3 and the ESPN deal. The Kinect does nothing for me. Just showed the redesign. It does look real nice. 250gig with built in Wi-Fi. Good deal! Kinect still kinda sux but i really dig the new design.

The biggest cheers came from the crowd when they found out they would not have to pay for the new xbox 360 with built in wifi something the PS3 already has.

They had to give away a heap of redesigned 360s to really get the crowd excited, those that hadn't already fallen asleep...lol

I have to say they impressed me with what they had to show. Metal gear, gears, and Kinect.I was actually impressed with how responsive Kinect was. If you go by this site it has massive lagz. Just something else the fanboys here were wrong about.

Oh and the redesign looked sweet.250gig hd and built in Wifi all for 299.99. I might just buy one now

That was easily the worst press conference I've seen since Nintendo's E3 conference 2 years ago. I was bored to tears and I kept checking my watch throughout the entire thing.

COD timed maps and DLC - who cares, not major
MG Rising - looks ok - but this is on the PS3 as well
Gears 3 - impressive
Fable 3 - ok, but never got into it
Halo Reach - impressive
Crytek exclusive - need more details on this one
ESPN and the Video chat - nothing major

Kinect
Animals - corny
Sports - ok, fun to play with wife, but thats it - nothing major, is this the best RARE can do?
Joyride - not excited
Adventures - looked ok, but not excited
UBI exercise game - not excited, but looks fun for that crowd
Harmonix Dance - not excited, but looks fun for that crowd
Star Wars - maybe something for a core gamer to get excited about - somewhat excited
Forza Kinect - better then joyride

Redesigned 360 - looks hot, but pisses me off as MS finally decides to release a build in WI-FI a year after i drop 100$ on the accessory piece

Overall - show gets a C+ in my opinion, no major game announcements for the core that we didnt know about except the Crytek game that we know nothing about. Kinect looks ok, but really is not something to get me stoked at this point.

This conference was almost as bad as Sony's E3 06 showing because they made the same mistakes by not promoting the game console......AS A GAME CONSOLE!!!!!!!

The MGS Rising looks really nifty, and then there's gears and halo and cod, and fable, and whatnot. Then something Crytek made with some guy.. Codename Kingdom or whatever, which looks like it could be nifty, but .. they showed like 30 seconds of nothing about it, just drippy blood, so .. I have no clue, but hopefully it ends up being awesome.

This was the least impressive M$ E3 for me, I mean, Kinect is okay, and then they went on about how casual they are and blahblah. Don't care. Then that skank was talking about how yeaah it has games, but ....... no. Okay? No. This is E3. I play games, homie. Dont' tell me how you can talk to your sister, I don't care. Let me know if there are any actually good awesome new games being announced or not. Which, there really weren't. They could have just ended the conference at that point.

I have to admit, Gears actually looked cool, though. I mean, I didn't really like the first two, so I can't imagine randomly liking the 3rd.. but it looks damn cool. & then the 360 that everyone saw pictures of yesterday.. Also don't really care about that. But, swell Oprah moment.

Good show, I'd give it a B-, considering everyone's tastes and preferences.

I'm not going to say much about all the good games. Nothing Earth shattering was shown. Too few exclusives, and even next year seems dismal. I knew Gears III was coming, and I will play it. The internet is better than LIVE for my entertainment. Everything else I care about is also on PS3 (To me the Rising reveal was just a Sony intermission). So...

I was actually impressed with Kinect. Kinectimals would be fun for kids, although I couldn't stand the little girl hamming it up like she was actually being licked. Kinect Adventures was cool too, a better party game than Move's, and a repackaging oddly reminiscent of EyeToy (I'm just saying).

Yet there was demonstration that made me a believer, and it isn't Star Wars. To me Kinect is made for fitness games. The 3d camera is practically made for it, but that's not all. Size and weight obsessed women would love to have their dimensions measured to verify their self-esteem or lack thereof. Eddie Murphy's baby's mama, Mel B. from the Spice Girls is going to have a game too. So not only will little girls have issues with their Barbies, they'll have this too. Genius!

However this means that Kinect belongs between ads for Richard Simmons videos and the latest weight loss supplement. Actually it will probably work better than both of those and much better than the camera less Wii. But like all three these women will likely place them in a closet, likely out of guilt.

It was lack of independent movement that was a glaring fail for Kinect, though - something neither Move or the Wii have problems with, thanks to controllers. By a lack of independent movement, I mean you don't have total control over your speed and direction in a game.

It was evident in the Star Wars demonstration as you "force ran" forward to the next wave of assailants. You couldn't decide to duck behind some cover stopping to force push a couple of baddies on the way. I was hoping to see an ingenious way to allow for us to run and turn around. I guess KB was right about the buttons. I didn't even get a "pew pew".

It was evident in the Forza demonstration, where you only could pass cars that were slower than you unless you use boost (Did they have to make them look like Yugo's). Uhm...yeah, fun there. You want intuitive for racing controls, get an actual wheel. The two games actually promising something for the hardcore will be quite shallow compared to what we're used to.

Kinect will be fun even if it is short-lived. They may even find some way to allow for independent motion, but if they haven't figured it out by now...I guess this is EyeToy 2010, just putting you in a frame or box and spitting red balls, or rails, or fuzzy cute tigers at you.
