Yeah play Mag gave it a 9.o also. I 've been hearing nothing but good things about this game. I'm glad that it keeps it's classic turn based roots. The new FF wasn't really for me and I hope Devs don't stop making turn based RPGs.

I agree its nice to see a good old turn based rpg every now and again I will be also be picking this up at launch.

I have heard nothing but good things about this game. But i'm not the biggest RPG player too. Although i did like lord of the rings The Third Age, on the original Xbox. I might have to give this a whirl.

Sakaguchi(Mistwalker) supporter, you need to buy this game. If this games continue to be sub-par in NA/Europe, even with highly acclaimed reviews. Sakaguchi is fuked, because this games failed to capture japaenese hearts. And XBOX 360, put down those FPS and buy this game... Personally I wouldn't hahhaaa.. Saving money for HALO 3... haha

Considering this was a JRPG and sold barely around 100,000 copies in Japan, I don't see why anyone would be excited about it.

Microsoft is desperate for something other than FPS, but they're not getting anywhere.

Cell shading is weak, although the Windwaker was fun, but that was because it was Zelda....

It is getting good reviews from everyone. Don't bring up Japanese sales. Everyone knows 360 is not popular there.

Famitsu gave this game a 37/40. Almost a perfect score. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be a AAA game.

I downloaded the demo and started it and there was little boy with his little friends and the game seems soo dumb. Not worth $60 iMO.

This will be the first of many games I buy this year. By the time im done with it, i´ll be able to have my halo3, assasin´s creed, mass effect, lost oddesey, gta4,and........ wait im out out money, damn, i guess those are my top pics to get this year, but there are alot of other really great games ( if i had the money ). Any1 who bashes this game just for being on the 360 needs to stop being a fanboy and start saving/making money casue this year, its gana be instant noodles all year baby, maybe il make a sandwich on christmas, maybe.

Does anybody else think this game is a little on the childish side? Also I think this looks like a blatant rip off of Pokémon. On the positive side, I think the graphics look pretty damn good.

Well actually I haven't played any for awhile but as I said before I will give this game a try, yeah its a little on the cartoony side but its a beautiful game and the animation is cool, my daughter really likes the demo and anything I can play with her on my 360 is really a good thing.

On a side note I never understand why those with a post history that clearly shows they don't like the 360 think that their opinion about this or any other 360 game matters at all? (same for those who hate PS3) I mean really I respect anyone who's a big fan of one console and not the other, and even though I might disagree with them at least I understand their point of view, but for those special fanboys I recommend 360 fans ignore the obvious haters of anything M$/360 related because their comments are predictable, no matter what it is they will re-gurgitate a random negative comment out of their "fanboy manual".....so responding to those kind of members is really a waste. Yes from time to time I'm guilty of responding to them as well but for the most part I just skim their comments laugh and move on, its much more useful responding to those who at least put an effort into adding something to this site besides hate. I think if the majority of us mature gamers on both sides gave them less attention then they would slowly but surely go away or at least have to make a new account and pretend to be a normal gamer who likes games and maybe has a favorite console, until their little fanboy instincts take over and reveal their true colors....again.

oh, and BTW off topic, Can people quit complaining about "OMG somebody took my bubble", or somebody hit disagree on my comment, (who cares?) I'm not specifically talking about on this thread but there are so many comments these days that end with complaints about losing bubbles.....you don't need many like I have to make your point. Blue dragon has sold over 200,000 copies. By the way Folkfore has just flopped in Japan, you don't hear 360 fans going on about it and saying bad things about it.

Although the folkfore demo did put me to sleep(literally).

And I expect mid 9's here in the USA as well. I'm super excited about it. I have been playing the Demo and I love the art style and the gameplay. Another Smash Hit on the way in the spirtit of Dragon Quest/Zelda/Final Fantasy Games. But new and refreshing...Not a part 10.

With All their money, resources and most importantly studios. Hell they even have Xbox publishing to have another studio to do it. Sometimes these things are hard for MS so they need to start with remasters first.

I don't even know if they're capable of doing that considering he's been talking about these franchises for 10 yrs now.

I remember when these games came out. Great games but unfortunately that’s what happened having Microsoft as a publisher. They didn’t meet the sales expectations and Hironobu Sakaguchi said he wasn’t interested in a sequel. That was around 18 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long already.

Xbox always been a hard sale in the east. Xbox broke 2.35 million sales in Japan in 20 years by 2022. With over half that being the 360 (1.6+ million).

That being said, “IF” Microsoft did get it to happen, they would benefit greatly if it was launched same day for PS5/PS6 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Lost Odyssey for sure deserves the remastered treatment. Out of everything that has seen a remastered re-release, it's criminal this hasn't been one of them.

So much BS comes out of Phil Spencer. All he ever does is look at past XBox games and make wild promises about them being the future. Phantom Dust, Perfect Dark, Crackdown - how did all those revivals go? Not that he is any better with new games he promotes such as Fable Legends, Scalebound, and Everwild.

He wants to see them revived only to have them canceled during mid-development (i.e. Phantom Dust, Perfect Dark, etc.)

Xbox fans want to see the revival of Xbox.

We've seen how Phil Spencer operates. He's done nothing but fail since 2014, I have no faith in anything he says.

I never got to see Lost Odyssey, and I heard it was a fantastic game. As a lover of that genre, I hope I get to see it released on modern consoles at a fair price, I would definitely give it a shot.
