Last night many gamers were subjected to what could only be considered an insult on the intelligence of gamers. GTTV's annual pre-E3 show subjected viewers to an all out hour-long assault of product placements, a fake boobed Morgan Web wannabe and a super model that could careless about gaming. It was an insult to intelligence to say the least.

New report from Skillsearch found that 22% of those surveyed had been laid off within the past 12 months.

It's a step forward for Stop Killing Games.

The Callisto Protocol director thinks the solution involves the right people, the right timing, and perhaps a little bit of AI
I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise
We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.
Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.
it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.
This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
Well I sure didn't tune in to see Geoff Keighleys ugly mug. I came to see two things Boobs and Games and the mission was accomplished. But I do get your point. Seriously Geoff could have been riding a unicorn and I wouldn't notice him standing next to Marissa Miller.
ROFL. Now thats funny.
I watched it too. I did find it pretty cheesy.
GTTV is like porn with a story. You have to sit though the cornball antics of people who couldn't give a rat's ass about gaming (the story) to get to the trailers (the sex).
It's the same exact reason why the VGAs are generally mocked by gamers. It's like they've got a bottomless barrel of ass clowns to throw on stage as a distraction for the pop culture dullards they're trying to leech ratings from.
There is no place for actual gamers on TV anymore. Not that I know of.
The Storm Trooper bit made me cringe.
I agree whole-heartedly with the author on this one.
The chick in the pink was hotter then that twig "super model" with her manly jaw....
