opening the chest in marston's attic. I havent looked to see what it is yet tho.

Dragging people behind your horse is always fun too, especially if they hit some rocks.

Focker4205750d ago (Edited 5750d ago )

I was expecting some easter eggs, like the cougar man or the werewolf. Not stupidity. Did you know if you hogtie someone to your horse, then kill your horse and the person will fall to the ground. Hahahahaha its hilarious, not really. This article is dumb.

EXID5750d ago

the article really IS dumb, though... it should've been about easter eggs, not this garbage.

Has anyone else seen a woman grieving over a dead man in the wild suddenly off herself (meaning put a revolver to her head and pull the trigger)? I saw that happen, but I have no idea what killed her husband(?) or if this is a common event. I haven't seen it since so I don't think it was part of a mini mission.

Also, the time I got drunk I stumbled out of the bar, fell over, and had to watch helplessly as a prostitute got stabbed to death. I was too drunk too even stand up...

Lot's of awesome things seem to happen in this game.

poopface15750d ago

only I think it was two guys at a campsite when I saw it.

One was looking at the dead guy and then he died in a very strange way when I approached them. I thought it was some sort of glitch.

stuntman_mike5750d ago

yeah i saw that but the other way round a guy kneeling over his wife as i approached he shot himself. disturbing but great game.

ChronoJoe5750d ago

I saw a guy looking like he was about to do this, lassoed and hog tied him, and took him to the nearest jail.

Suicide is illegal.

I also did that to the woman who wanted to stay out in the wild and let god save her, (I dumped her in the doctors though) she didn't seem very appreciative either.

stuntman_mike5749d ago

what is the point of that woman out in the wilds i never got that, waste of a good bit of medicine.

clarkdef5750d ago

yes I have seen this more than twice.

The funniest thing I saw was a town dog which strayed from a town and attacked and killed a beaver, THEN! took on a BEAR! The Bear killed the dog, and then I chased the bear with a knife and it was running away xD

psman0125750d ago

Yeah, I have encountered this before. It is very creepy, and surprising!

More like people don't play these type of games on their phone normally and don't try them out. Not like the places where people do play these games haven't crushed those numbers easily.

How many people actually played more than an hour of the game or came close to finishing it on mobile is the real question. If people aren't playing the games to a point that is purposeful, then why try when a subscription that is behind a streaming service isn't a sign of success but just curiosity.

What if Netflix becomes ‘the Netflix of gaming?!’

Alek8351d ago

I downloaded it because I already have a Netflix sub.
I am not going to buy it for $40 or whatever it costs on Google Play.

I tried it out and will be sticking to the PC version, but it's not bad.

Having said that, this is the issues I see vs the PC version:
1. Greatly reduced texture resolution.
2. Massive downgrade ALL lighting quality (this includes water, shadows, etc).
3. Stutter and heat. Prolonged play leads to both.
On the plus side, we have:
4. This thing is like 6GB vs the 12 on Steam.

Great way to try the game, but not the best way to play it.

Perhaps Netflix will make a RDR series now that ST is done with.

Lionsguard51d ago

A Netflix version of RDR?... Oh boy... I can't wait... /s

TheColbertinator51d ago

They should build a production that includes members behind the True Grit remake and Hell on Wheels from AMC. Both were perfect for wild west vibes.

gold_drake51d ago

but i doubt people ACTUALLY played it on smartphone vs tried it out.

Another free update...good to know but I don't own a series X

Petebloodyonion85d ago

I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.

Hypertension14084d ago (Edited 84d ago )

Yea I think thats what it is. I also own the game but not the expansion, and im unable to download the update.
