Coming in at 8 was Obsidian Entertainment’s espionage-RPG game, Alpha Protocol, which to our dismay was put on SEGA’s backburner for about six months. It’s unclear if the delay was strictly to distance itself from Modern Warfare 2’s chart dominance, or if Alpha Protocol needed some more refinement. Now, after playing through the game, we have to believe (and hope) the delay was simply a matter of time because instead of an interesting and unique take on the classic RPG formula that we were promised, SEGA has released a game that is severely flawed, and not in a way that is easily ignored".
Alpha Protocol has sneaked its way back onto Steam as part of its Summer Sale, much to the surprise of a few loyal fans.
One of the few 7th gen game that I'll full heartedly support for a remake.
Its a very unique RPG and deserves its faults fixed the 2nd time.
I would be so for this. Alpha Protocol is the definition of a diamond in the rough. Before being acquired by Microsoft, Obsidian presented their ideas for a sequel, multiple times, but were always shot down. Even something simple like a remaster is very unlikely.
Still have a physical copy for my PS3. Clunky at times but I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.

Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.

I really wanted a MotorStorm using the same engine, Driveclub is easily one of the best looking games on PS4 and I'm surprised they didn't even give it a PS4 Pro patch.
I adored Driveclub and the Bike expansion. I also loved Motorstorm. Evolution shutting down was a crime
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
