We posted a preview of Reckless Racing a while ago, and since then, we haven’t heard too much about it. Fortunately, the developer has updated their website with the following:
Much has happened the last few weeks; a new track made it into the game, the delivery mode had a makeover, the UI was final…ized, a casual game mode was added, Polarbit’s cross-platform online community support was added and much more… The game is finally finished and we are just waiting for QA approval now.
TouchArcade: Man, I don't know what it is, but 'tis the season for updating super-old iOS games. Just this month alone we've seen Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light updated, GTA: Chinatown Wars updated, and just today 1-bit Ninja was updated. Those are three iOS games that I had long figured would be forgotten in the sands of time, and it makes me extremely happy that those new updates have made them relevant again. Well, get ready to add another to the list, as this week the original Reckless Racing [$0.99 / $0.99 (HD)] has received an update for modern devices.

The older and more mud-caked sibling to Reckless Getaway, Reckless Racing has been perennially popular in the Android Market and was one of the Android 10BN download sale items last year.
