IGN: E3 2010: DC Universe Online Gets a Release Date

IGN writes:

"For years now, I've been writing about DC Universe Online -- about battles with Bizarro, about getting missions from Superman, and about how you're creating your own hero or villain in this massively multiplayer online game and not just being one. But the one thing I haven't been able to write about is when this game is coming to the PlayStation 3 and PC. Now, I can."

wow this november?! Can't wait to see how the final build looks and plays.

should be fun

EDIT: sinncross, dont expect the agency to come out this year since there isnt any gameplay or nothing, rockstar needs to, this year

TheHater5829d ago

The Agency is a SONY Computer Entertainment MMO be made for the PS3 and PC

AGENT is a RockStar game being made by RockStar North exclusively for the PS3

I'm actually more interested in the Agency than I am DC Universe!

sinncross5829d ago

I wonder if this means that the Agency will be pushed to 2011...
But DC Universe Online and Final Fantasy 14 can give MMO's lovers on the PS3 (and PC) some interesting titles.

Would be cool if SOE can make a Marvel Universe Online, and then have it connect with the DC one: would be a novel idea.

No doubt this will be at E3. I wonder what MMOs the 360 has comming out.....LOL

Pretty excited. Been waiting for this for a long time. I love the DC universe. I hope this game doesn't have a monthly fee, though, or I might skip on it.

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
