DMC4 was so bad...

4 was nearly as bad as 2 hell i put in 100 hours on 2 and didnt bother finishing 4.

Hmph! If it's anything like DMC 2 I won't welcome it! It's like saying you'll buy the game for it's name sake alone! Sorry pal. Gots to be good. And why is Ninja Theroy supposedly developing the next game? I hope Capcom knows what they're doing........

Just play Bayonetta, it's better anyway.

Bayonetta 2 has me more exicted than anything DMC anymore. After 4, do not care.

Exactly my thinking. 4 was the first DMC I didn't finish and just killed any enthusiasm for a sequel. Bayonetta came out and was very impressive. Wasn't too much about that game I didn't like. I still remember all the hate it got when it was getting killer reviews from sites saying it was better than DMC. I think it was a solid game thru and thru and deserved it's hype. Bayonetta 2 should be fun.

Personally, I'd prefer something new. We've already had DMC 4 on this generation, I can wait a few more years for DMC 5.

I hope they take their time with it. I can wait another 2 years for it if it turns out to be anything like Devil May Cry 3 combat-wise, and the story/script is a lot better

espcially using the devil bringer I don't know what you people are smoking you want to play a shitty DMC game go back and play DMC2. DMC3 was the best so they need to redefine it to top that game

thanks men....... im waiting for a vergil story game..thats my recomendation for capcom... i dont saying that Dante is not cool......Dante is my favorite character of the game but vergil is awesone i mean the coldest actitude and Yamato for me is the best swords of the game in short vergil is fuck*** awesone

Some people need to let go of the past. Using DMC3 to say DMC is better than Bayonetta is silly. DMC 3 was ONE game in a series. So to represent an entire series where half the the games in it are trash, with one of its two standout titles doesn't make sense. Don't be a fanboy.

As DMC 4 is currently the most recent title, it's more indicative of what DMC is about right now (emphasis on the present, who cares what ANY company or game did 5 years ago, what are they like now? Look at Final Fantasy...). And right now, Bayonetta > DMC. If you're one who puts value into critical acclaim, the only DMC with higher praise than Bayonetta was the series' opener. If not and you haven't played it yet I suggest you give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

DMC4 was garbage so i'm sure DMC5 will be garbage too. The DMC games are just going downhill.

let me tell you something bayonneta is from the creators of DMC and is a new ip...the developers uses inovation is logical that the game is better duh!!! and from my point of view bayonneta is a girly game i dont like to jump with butterfly wings i mean Wtf? Im not gay...but in stylysh fighting is better, but in story and characters= Fail.... flowers everywhere butterfly wings nah not for me

first get rid of Nero. and make it like dmc3 .

Really thats in my top 3 action games this gen. Loved the gameplay especially nero who I thought was much more fun than Dante by far the story wasnt as deep as DMC3 though since it had Vergil dante twin but DMC4 gameplay made up for it.

DMC3 was the best one.DMC4 was good i dont know whats capcom doing. i always thought that they should make one staring virgil dantes brother since theres still a lot of back story between the brothers as virgel how he came to the darkside and dealing with his problems singlely building up to the events in DMC3 that would make a great concept.
