Treyarch will still fail even if they acheive better sales. Most people out there don`t know about who makes what and whats really original or just a copy.

i like treyarch because they dont abandon their games...although their map packs are very expensive.

imagine call of duty exclusively for ps3 would be epic,put a killzone2 look to it,it be worth buying then.

I think no one should be judging companies yet until a year after black ops. Then we see who is better.

MW2 proves the lack of support IW have for the games they produce. Look at both the xbox and ps3 hacks and glitches are always appearing and never getting fixed. MW2 is an unbalanced game. I assume you are a IW fanboy, I was too when COD4 was around. But having played WAW for a while and seeing the speed at which treyarch supported their game it chagned my mind. Yes WAW was not better than COD4, but it improved on it. As with Black ops, treyarch will take the best bits of mw2 and improve them. Its a simple format, and for anyone to tell me IW are still better.
It took IW 2 years to patch turbo controllers on COD4 end of discussion.
Activision will not allow call of duty to be a console exclusive, simply because they make twice as much money and the xbox has sold more call of duty games. The numbers show it.
Call of duty will die out soon, IW will close down and respawn entertainment will take over, dont forget the rights to call of duty belong to the two former IW executives.

Was not expecting that result. Something you haven't included was level design. Infinity Ward is still the champion when it comes to level design and it's really made the Modern Warfare series what it is.

It's funny how we can believe all articles out there. For one, we don't know 100% of the legal battle that is going on, none of us do, even these 'gaming' sites/writers. Second is Treyarch may not have started the COD story, but you can not tell me they have not done any of their own programming? Both IW and TA have been copy and pasting and improving the software that runs COD, TA has been the one tweeking and improving along the ways, AND listening to us gamers.

COD WAW is a game of skill, a head shot is a head shot. I started with COD4 and totally enjoy it, I LOVED WAW and think its better then both 4 and MW2.... MW2 was a hugh success but lacked any real game play, mp is addicting as usual but thats it.... more guns and stupid perks and lots of glitches!!! All IMO but stand behind TA all the way, I'm looking forward to Black-OPS!!!!

all they need to do is get rid of the noob shit that ruined mw2. throw out everything that infinity ward added and it'll be a good game.

Even though I despise Call of Duty games, I do respect Treyarch as developers, and have found their installments reasonably enjoyable, so Trayarch win in my opinion. But lets be honest, there is in the end only one "Winner", Activisions greedy pockets.

CoD4 > WaW
BOps > MW2
