Well, they do thinks better then most other gaming companies, so I guess an "as soon as we can" can be better than a date.

This is possibly because Blizzard has more money than God, and has never let anyone or anything rush them. They take their time, and it shows with the games.

Wasn't long ago when Vivendi was seriously considering selling off Blizzard, bet they are glad they didn't make that mistake...

Blizzard does have a cash cow called WoW, but you can't deny they're at least in the top 2 greatest devs ever because of Starcraft, Warcraft 2-3, Diablo 2, and basically all the other games they've ever made.

In today's game industry, Blizzard is a savior. They keep the flame of PC gaming and they deliver amazing games in a sea of bland shooters
