There are better gang hideouts to clear than this.

RPcinemas5841d ago

well this is just one way we found effective :)

Pennywise5841d ago

Try (spelling) Sollomon's Folly.

himdeel5841d ago

If so message me tonight :) I want to level up just so I have access to all the weapons mounts characters for Free Roam funs :)

RPcinemas5841d ago

will do u on ps3 ? approve my post please

ThatCanadianGuy5840d ago (Edited 5840d ago )

Pike's basin is the best by far.You can get like 2400 every 5-6 mins once you get the hang of it and breeze through it quick solo.

HQLocated1115840d ago

Solomons folly you can get like 1300xp+ in like 1:30 or less

mikeslemonade5840d ago

F this BS! It took me 4 minutes and I only got 500xp. Bunch of liars here! And it's not that easy to do it. You get shot a few times and you die.

BeaArthur5840d ago

Agreed, I had a posse that was clearing out a gang hideout in about a minute (don't remember which one) and we were getting more XP than this guy is getting.

pretty much any gang hideout is an effective way of leveling... find one that you and your buddies like, and keep playing them... you'll get just as good at taking it out as these guys are at this one... and probably with a little more experience as well since this one i think offers the least amount... plus, there's not a lot of good cover spots here either so, expect to die a lot...

i am sure you can get just as good at doing this method on any gang hideout except for the pike's basin one, as that takes forever to figure out where the hell each path takes you... some take you way away from the action, thus costing precious time...

RPcinemas5841d ago

yeah man i agree there, just takes time and practise and getting xp equally throughout your team

iceman065840d ago

But, this one seems to be wide open and accessible. Pike's Basin is so closed in and there are some characters that can retreat into the woods at the top of the ridges...which means you have to chase them....which takes up time. Solomon's Folly and Twin Rocks seem to be the faster ways. Both can be cleared in less than 4 minutes. (at least with 2 people)

BannedForNineYears5841d ago

Solomons Folly is the best one.
It takes about 5 minutes and you get 1.1k.

SpitFireAce855841d ago (Edited 5841d ago )

of my friends did it in 1:10.51 that was the fastest
we did so far and i had a 18 combo/chain kills got
over 1700 points. We average about 1300 points every
time.

PS that was Sollomon's Folly.

Stop with this game already. This isnt a Game strategy website. I dont care for "tips" on this damn game. Go to S4G Strats 4 Gamers. GO AWAY, you BLOG.

Bolts5841d ago

You can get massive XP by grinding easy hideouts instead of playing real competitive gaming modes. Its stupid and totally BS.

iceman065840d ago

Cuz from what I have seen, there is level grinding of some sorts in just about every competitive online arena. So, no online for you? Seriously, it's about getting fun out of your gameplay experience. For me, grinding isn't always fun, except I did like it in Borderlands. Just play the game for what it is. I have run into level 50 people already and it doesn't ruin the experience simply because we all have the same amount of time with the game (about a week). There is no SKILL enhancement with the addition of new characters, mounts, etc. The only real advantage is weapons...and still people must know how to use them.

ASSASSYN 36o5840d ago

You have no point. All of the hideouts are easy and their is not much to do in free roam private matches to accumulate large xp.

More like people don't play these type of games on their phone normally and don't try them out. Not like the places where people do play these games haven't crushed those numbers easily.

How many people actually played more than an hour of the game or came close to finishing it on mobile is the real question. If people aren't playing the games to a point that is purposeful, then why try when a subscription that is behind a streaming service isn't a sign of success but just curiosity.

What if Netflix becomes ‘the Netflix of gaming?!’

Alek83129d ago

I downloaded it because I already have a Netflix sub.
I am not going to buy it for $40 or whatever it costs on Google Play.

I tried it out and will be sticking to the PC version, but it's not bad.

Having said that, this is the issues I see vs the PC version:
1. Greatly reduced texture resolution.
2. Massive downgrade ALL lighting quality (this includes water, shadows, etc).
3. Stutter and heat. Prolonged play leads to both.
On the plus side, we have:
4. This thing is like 6GB vs the 12 on Steam.

Great way to try the game, but not the best way to play it.

Perhaps Netflix will make a RDR series now that ST is done with.

Lionsguard130d ago

A Netflix version of RDR?... Oh boy... I can't wait... /s

TheColbertinator129d ago

They should build a production that includes members behind the True Grit remake and Hell on Wheels from AMC. Both were perfect for wild west vibes.

gold_drake129d ago

but i doubt people ACTUALLY played it on smartphone vs tried it out.

Another free update...good to know but I don't own a series X

Petebloodyonion163d ago

I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.

Hypertension140162d ago (Edited 162d ago )

Yea I think thats what it is. I also own the game but not the expansion, and im unable to download the update.
