who cares, the game is not a graphics based game,is all about the open world and story

I have the PS3 vrsion and it's not exactly a dog. It looks superb and plays brilliantly , don't feel like i'm missing out at all.

Honestly, after playing this on my PS3 and on my friends 360, I really don't give a damn.

Never had I enjoyed a game where the environment is so large, breathtaking, and the characters are unique, this makes GTAIV and Just Caused 2 a wimp.

Yes I notice texture pop-ups, glitches, game crashing bugs and occasional alpha-type graphic. But those are small compares to the scope of the game itself. Still looks beautiful on both consoles. One of the best contender for this year GOTY.

You know rdr must of really surprised Microsoft as well. They got all the sites running comparisons with thier tvs on dim, no color & rgb off!

that comparison didn't show alot of noticeable differences. What i took from it was all this time I could have been shooting the horses and making the rider fly off... why didn't i think of that?

Actually I thought PS3 was a lot worse reading the news on the webz.

I start to think that all the ports problems are due to lack of development time for optimization.

I would have bought the game in any case, pre-ordered on Amazon from March 5th.

Because now I feel like I should go and buy the Xbox 360 version instead, even though they are basically the same thing.

It's an awesome game that anyone with a PS3 or 360 should get.

Anyone still remember last generation of games? Most games were 100% finished but not these days.

WOW! I couldn't care any less about this. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game regardless. Since when did little things like this actually matter? I played GTA:SA and the graphics were crap in comparison, yet I still enjoyed every bit of it.

GTA4 looked pretty good to me, and RDR looks better. What more cuold we want? Its multiplatform engine and thats it, it will allways be different on PS3 than X360.

those who are playing the game..realize these vids dont show really how bad the graphically glitches are on both systems.... the pop ins, the melding of players through walls (if I get killed one more time by a gun sticking through a wall) and what about the corrals which appear empty and than as you get close, like magic the livestock populate it.
the reviews just ignored all this stuff or where frigging blind..
the game is GREAT and a lot of fun, but the technical issues surely should freeze scores at 95..

...should get some assistance to get their engine optimised for PS3 as clearly they can't do it themselves. However, in saying that RDR is still fantastic fun on PS3 and no one should be put off getting it.

I'm playing the game now on the PS3 on my 20' Sony Bravia HD TV in native 720p. Red Dead Redemption looks nothing bad like some haters are saying it is on the PS3. It looks just fine to me, it looks just like how I expected it to look. The graphics are not the best I've seen on the PS3 but the art direction, environments and natural scenery in the game looks incredible. I did not see any pop-ins or blurriness at all. The textures, detail and colours are just fine and more than good enough. There is a slight framerate issue thats all I've noticed. I really think there has been a big deal made out of these PS3 vs 360 version comparisons. The PS3 version will always look slightly different to the 360 version as they both different machines, it's that obvious. But there is hardly any kind of difference here. It seems like the 360 fanatics are clutching on straws on this one, they know the PS3 in general produces better graphics (especially with exclusives) and they wanna make noise and say one multi-plat game is better on their machine. Try again! There is nothing wrong with the PS3 version, dont listen to these haters. Play the PS3 version in full 720p HD and see for yourself. This is just pure hate, the PS3 version is just fine!

One of the biggest games of the year so far, Rockstar could have done better. Is it me or has Rockstar kinda had it out for the PS3 this gen with timed GTAIV content and now this? Well they are making The Agent so that kinda makes up for things but I have a feeling that it may go to the 360.
